Solid, Sturdy, & Thick! Perfect chair mat upgrade!

The first one came with a chip in the corner, but BestBuy replaced it with a new one and had UPS pick up the chipped one! Excellent service. The 2nd one was perfect! Beware... it's heavy and awkward if you're alone. I found it best to lay the box flat and open it from the back, then remove the mat, and take it to where it needs to go. I still needed 2 people, but it was easier than moving the whole box. Also, it would have been much easier to repack if it had to be returned. Trying to slide the first one back into the box, from the end, was a nightmare. In the end, I love the mat! My chair glides around on it so easily (it's kind of fast), and it feels so solid and sturdy. I work from home and have no doubts about using it 8-12 hours a day. This is much thicker and heavier than you would think. I'm about 185, have a 50+ lb executive chair, and feel solidly supported. This is on a high pile carpet, which is very difficult to find mats for and I've already destroyed polycarbonate ones within 2 years. I have high hopes for this one. Also, Best Buy price matched Amazon, so it was half price! Score!

Not so great.

This mat is produced from extremely durable reinforced glass and while we cannot guarantee no movement, the mats weight should be enough to reduce movement. We can suggest placing non-slip dots on the bottom of the mat, we do however advise testing the dots on a small portion of your flooring before use.
