My daughter felt warm, this said she was at 96 degrees where the old school thermometer verified she had a 102 degree fever. Glad we still had the old one handy.

I thought my 11 month old son felt warm and this thermometer read 99.1 okay not too bad I gave him Tylenol throughout the day because his fever didn’t break and he had a minor cough. 1030 pm rolls around and he felt even warmer to me and I start to worry, I check his temp and it reads 99.6. Less than 3 minutes later my son stiffens up and his eyes roll back and he starts convulsing, in my arms. Not until the ambulance came and we went to the hospital did I find out his temperature was ACTUALLY 104.6!!!!!! I will forever discourage people to buy this and it has made me not trust inferred thermometers at all!!!!
