Great mouse!

This is a very comfortable mouse and lightning fast! I have small hands and find it very easy to use, bare in mind, this mouse is intended for right handed people. If you would like one ambidextrous, you can check Fnatics other mouse, the Flick2 which is for both hands. Upon installing the OP software, firmware updates were applied and you can use it to customize the DPI settings, which the mouse can store 3 profiles on it. Also RGB lighting is configurable via the software.
The mouse uses the best switches/sensors out on the market right now so it is lightning fast. Oh, remember to disable mouse acceleration in Windows for better gaming!!

Not noticeably superior but still a fine mouse

I remember a time when there was a huge noticeable difference in responsivity between wired and wireless mice. You just could not depend on wireless mice, which could cut out unpredictably and show lags in responsivity.
But these days, wireless mice are so well-made that the difference between them and wired mice has become vanishingly small. I tested the Fnatic Clutch 2 side-by-side with the mouse I usually use, the MX Anywhere Bluetooth mouse. I alternated between them, moving the cursor around at different speeds and in different patterns, and I would be fibbing if I said that I could tell the difference.
For gaming, I would probably prefer the security of the Clutch 2 wired mouse, but I am only a once-in-a-while gamer. It is possible that there are other aspects to the mouse, such as sensitivity, that would make it superior for gaming, so I let my son try it for a couple of weeks. He is a huge gamer who uses a different brand of wired gaming mouse. He said that the Clutch 2 is very nice. It has a good feel to it and responds well. But it did not perform better or worse than the wired mouse he usually uses for gaming.
The mouse comes with some programmable software, but the limited instructions that came with it did not clearly explain why I might want to change any of the default features of the mouse. So I did not experiment with these.
In summary, I have no problems with this mouse. It feels good in my hand and is sensitive and responsive. I can't say that its performance is better than the wireless Bluetooth mouse I normally use, but it would probably be a better choice for gaming.

smooth clutch 2 mouse

ok, so I first will say, so far I enjoy this mouse and using it currently with my fnatic keyboard. did not think I would like it as I have a Logitech G502 mouse. there are things I liked with the Logitech mouse that this lacks but overall, this mouse glides super smooth on my mousepad making it a lot easier to stay on track on targets.
a few things I want to mention first as far as negatives. the software is basic. being software I hope they continue to improve it. but until then, its basic and not as many options. like you cant sync the color scheme with the keyboard. and even if you select the same color settings, like orange is my favorite color, those settings look a lot more yellow on the mouse compared to the keyboard. I would like to have a few more options with the software as well. like maybe select to only have 2 profiles. right now it has 3. I am used to pressing a button and having my mouse go to another dpi setting like a faster and a slow one. so when at menu of games or running around and want to look around, I like to go to the faster dpi. I don't really use 3 profiles so having an option to delete one would be nice. the mouse scroll does not have an unlock to freely allow it to scroll. and again basic software you can only do so much customization on the buttons. but those things are also somewhat due to being spoiled with having a lot more options with Logitech. so have not used a simpler basic mouse in a while. and for the most part, I am getting used to this mouse. I would still like to maybe customize the buttons so that an option is there so if I want to hold down a thumb button it would go to a certain dpi setting and back when released. or again just an option to select and have 2 profiles.
that said, those are not my reason for a 4 star as those are just a preference i would like to see. my reason for a 4 star is that it freezes. I play fps games and like is said, I like to at times go from the slower dpi that I like to use when aiming, to a faster one at main menu and when looking around like in a game like pubg. after switching to the different profile a few times, like 20 ish or so. it will freeze up and the mouse wont work at all until I unplug it and replug back in. it does recognize the second I plug back in and works. it does not happen to often but does now and then. usually can play a couple rounds with no issues. if you are not like me and don't change the dpi like I do then great and should not have issues at all. if you do, just something that may or may not happen to you as well.
that said, I still prefer this mouse. it glides very smooth on my mouse pad. I love fnatic team and enjoyed watching there csgo team. mouse feels great and responds great as well. in a game like pubg it has helped me out a lot. easier to keep on targets. took a bit to get used to but once there, love it.

Not what I was expecting. Fits ok in your palm, but the button layout is weird. Large hands and I had trouble with the "sniper button" as thumb wouldn't reach comfortably.

The thing I liked most about this mouse is the size and how it fit in my hand. It was easy to hold and was smooth when tracking playing games that required smooth movement. It was easy to configure and I found it on par with other gaming mice with the same functionality. I would recommend it as an option for those looking for a solid mouse.

A Mouse Designed for the fast Paced Gamer

This mouse is truly a sight for sore hands. The accuracy and ability to adjust DPI and the way the mouse glides across as you move makes you forget you are using a mouse at times. The clicking feels natural and not too mechanical. The software is still a little clunky but doesn't affect the overall quality of the mouse. Certainly would reccommend for anyone playing FPS based games

I'm not really a corded mouse user, but I can see how one would be better for gamers. Reducing any chance for lag is probably needed for online shooters.
The mouse looks great and it functions wonderfully. I attached it to a backup Windows 10 machine with no issues. I didn't have a mouse pad available so I just used the clean desk. It's an old military steel tanker desk and the mouse performed as expected. It was easy to use, glided smoothly and the settings out of the box were perfect for me.
The software I have downloaded for the Fnatic Streak keyboard also allows for mouse adjustments. You can adjust the lighting just like the keyboard, but honestly I left it stock because unlike the keyboard, I can't see the mouse, my hand is covering it up. There is a performance tab that allows you to adjust a few sensor positions, but again I just left it stock. For Gamers, I'm sure as suggestion are sent the software will be updated. I didn't look but I need to see how to adjust the scroll wheel. It clicks, which I like over the Logitech G603 I use on my main desktop. Unlike the G603, it seems to take forever to scroll a page with the Clutch 2. I'm sure there must be a setting that can pick how many lines to scroll with each click...at least I hope so. The mouse is made for right-handed people with the buttons on the left side.
Other than that, it's a great wired mouse right out of the box and even though I don't game much anymore, I think gamers would be very happy with the performance. I'd recommend this to a friend.

A mouse that compliments the Fnatic keyboard

I'm a guy who like pairing things from the same companies, when possible. I had tried the Fnatic keyboard that just came out the Mini Streak, and love it!
This mouse is a purpose designed mouse that will make you realize this mouse was made for gaming. It works as a gaming mouse should with features you didn't realize were a thing if you were not a serious gamer. Lift detection, reprogrammable buttons, weight, types of materials used, etc. all are things considered when making this mouse.
Fnatic is a name that I hadn't really paid attention to but shows you that I'm not always in the loop - this company makes stuff that serious gamers use. And I'm not a pro or anything, but enjoy having the right tools to improve my gaming odds and experience.
Buy this, you will like it I'm sure. And if you don't, Best Buy has a great return policy - and while you are at it, get their keyboard. It will give you a sense of how much fun gaming can be, and the right tools makes it even better.

Excellent Performance - Not Designed For All Hands

Fnatic's new Clutch 2 wired mouse is an ergonomically designed mouse for right hand use only - there is no left-hand version. I found it to be very comfortable but it is not the best ergonomic design out there. And even though the mouse fits comfortably in my hand, people with smaller hands might find the mouse to be too large - I recommend testing the dimensions and weight of the mouse in the store before buying it (it's kinda heavy too - something I prefer but I think I'm in the minority there).
The sides and scroll wheel of the mouse are rubberized - and that might be the best feature here. It makes the mouse easy to hold securely without having to get clutch-y or grippy - that goes a long way in keeping my hand from cramping over time and I feel like I have better control with reduced strain.
As you would expect, the mouse is lightening fast and is very responsive. It has selectable resolution and lift detection. The illumination colors and brightness and the assignment of button functions can be controlled by Fnatic's software, but the installation program set-off my antivirus so I left those controls off for the time being.
It will take me some time to adapt to using a wired mouse again, but I'm really happy with the design and performance of this one.

Lots of lights if you play games in the dark (like me). A little big but that's ok for better fit and control especially if your hands are bigger like mine. The only complaint I have is no side to side scroll, maybe they will add this to future releases. Very responsive and large sliding pads for lasting gameplay. Good choice for gamers! Get one now!

Love the mouse, completely beautiful, well made solid mouse. The RGB effects are awesome and it just feels really strong.
The wire hasn't given me any issues but it doesn't have any fancy breaded features so I will attempt to keep it from kinks as that has been an issue with other brands.
I still have not downoaded any apps or programs to control mouse speed setup buttons and such but plan to do so in the future, not sure how easy that is gonna be.
Overall though very pleased with this company and how responsive, awesome looking this mouse is.
It comes with some fancy stickers too lol.

I'll be honest here and say I've not used a wired mouse in years before this one. If you are a PC gamer then this is an excellent option to get your game on. While it is plastic is has an excellent build quality and a good feel in the hand. It's insanely accurate to boot! An excellent choice.

I use a fingertip grip when using a mouse. Even though I have this grip, I liker a heavier weight to my mouse. That is where I dropped a star on this mouse. It is a little on the light side.
Making the light weight even more pronounced, this mouse glides really well. I like the feel of the glide. I am just afraid I will slide it off the desk in a momentary fit.
You have 3 profiles you can save for speed and lighting. Not sure you can expect much more than that.
The length of the mouse may be one of the longer mice I have ever used. I have XXL hands and this has a tendency of touching my palm while in use. It just feels elongated.
Button placement feels natural. Unlike some mice, you can feel the space between the forward and back side buttons. I am dropping a star here also as I can see some people may have an issue with how far back the back button is. My hand size helps me here. I can see someone with a claw grip not liking how long it is.
For as long as the mouse is, it is not very wide. Someone with a palm grip may find the width uncomfortable. It is hard for me to say since my hands are so big. My son agrees with this statement and his hands are a little smaller than mine but uses a palm grip.
This mouse really feels like it was designed for a fingertip user with average to slightly large sized hands.
Some quick thoughts:
-The cord is about 5.5 feel long.
-Lights are normal places for a mouse.
-Software for settings is done really well.
-There is no delay in reaction time.
-The scroll has a good resistance to it with just enough feedback for it to be comfortable.
-It really feels like this should have a braided cable, but it is a rubber coating.
Overall I like the mouse and can recommend it to the right grip type. I would definitely go into a brick and mortar store and test the feel of the mouse to see if you like how it sits in hand. If it feels good in hand, you will love the mouse.

Fantastic mouse, not just for gaming

This is a great all around mouse. It fits well in the hand, has easy to reach "extra" buttons, and glides smoothly across my gigantic mousepad. The two thumb buttons are positioned just barely above where I rest my thumb, so it is easy to click either one without worrying about losing your grip. The button under the wheel is the DPI toggle, with 3 settings. It's a little harder to press, but that keeps you from accidentally hitting it in the heat of the moment, causing you to turn really slowly when you need to do some quick moves.
At first I was upset that there was no toggle to allow a freewheel instead of a clicky wheel, but then I realized that I never go freewheeling on the mouse that does have the toggle, so no huge loss. The lighting options are also nice and understated (and what I mistook for some lightbleed in a manufacturing defect was actually the DPI indicator), though I wish it would pair and pulse in sync with my Fnatic keyboard.

The FNATIC Clutch 2 is a good looking gaming mouse that pairs nicely with the FNATIC Streak Mini Keyboard. In my use, I have to say it was comfortable, performed well and provided the right amount of software customizability.
