I'm very impressed with this keyboard. I've used Corsair, Razer, and Logitech keyboards. The cherry mx feel very smooth and responsive. I'm definitely glad I took a chance on Fnatic. The wrist wrest is very comfortable and adjustable. More companies should follow this model. Lighting is bright. FN keys are set up well. Lettering on the side

---SETUP--- The setup for the Fnatic keyboard was a simple plug and play for normal use. Additional software (called OP software) is required for full customization options. After the software has downloaded, the program can guide you for customizing your keyboard. ---FEATURES--- The key feature of this keyboard is its full customization options from the software you download. You can customize the color of your keys, the pattern you want them to light up, or when you want them to be on or off. Additionally, and more importantly, you can customize the bindings of your keys and have more than enough profiles for different gaming styles. It also comes with a wrist rest pad, which can be connected to the keyboard itself and the position of how far or close it is to the keyboard can be customized as well, as it has magnetic grips. ---PERFORMANCE--- The performance of this keyboard is phenomenal. The keys feel slightly more spaced, so it is easier to press the key you intended instead of accidentally pressing a different key. Being able to customize my keys was great and easy with the OP software. Since I play many genres of games, I created 3 different profiles, one for adventure games, one for multiplayer games, and one for FPS games. Switching between all of them was not complicated. ---EXPECTATIONS--- The product meets my expectations. If you are entering the world of gaming keyboards, you must know that some keyboards make a clicky noise when pressing the keys. Though this keyboard is labeled as a no click keyboard, it is still louder than your average non-gaming keyboard. However, that noise didn’t bother me as I game with headphones on. Other than that, everything works as good or better than expected. ---VALUE--- The keyboard feels the asking price, as it is heavy, sturdy, and responsive. Quality is evident and the included wrist rest pad that connects to the keyboard makes it feel more valuable. ---APPROVAL--- I highly recommend this keyboard for gamers who want to take their customization to the next level. You won’t be disappointed.

Short and quick review of the Fnatic Streak Mechanical Cherry Red MX is that I really love the backlit customization and the smooth mechanical feel to the keys. You can literally assign individual keys whatever color and function you want or go with one of the various color changing modes. This keyboard however is designed to sit on a desk with it’s huge USB cable and loose palm rest. I had never heard of Fnatic, but I am an avid gamer and always like being able to customize my devices to suite my specific gameplay. I tend to play in low light so being able to glance down at the keyboard every once and awhile and see the keyboard is something I really enjoy. To make it even more amazing is that I can make certain keys whatever color I choose and with 4 different profiles I can change between the color variations with a press of a button. My current configuration makes it so that the WASD are one color, but the specific action buttons are another color. Then a few other buttons that are commonly used are another while I black out the function buttons that I don’t have assigned. In the heat of battle if I lose my place on the keyboard I can easily find what I was looking for. All of this customization is done through the Fnatic OP software which allows you to configure the lighting, assign key bindings and configure the one press competition mode. The color modes range from a static or gradient colors, to color changing modes like wave, fade and pulse to some crazy modes like rain and reactive ripple. I found the latter modes more distracting that useful, but make for an interesting effect. The keybinding feature allows you to change your entire keyboard layout if you wanted to by remapping keys, assigning macros, opening applications, files or links. I think I’m going to use one of my four profiles as a practical joke so that when someone else attempts to use my keyboard, none of the keys will be what they are supposed to be. When your configuration is saved, it is saved to the keyboard so that you can connect it to any other computer and the effects remain as you had configured. The box lists four different versions of the Cherry MX switches though I have only seen two in Best Buy. The one I have is the Red which is linear smooth travel. There is Red Silent with quieter liner smooth travel, Blue with audible tactile click and Brown with tactile bump. All of them are 2mm actuation distance with guaranteed 50 million operations. Considering the Red has some audible clacking to it, I wonder how the Blue would sound. I find the keys are very responsive and don’t require much force to make the travel. While playing online I have had several people ask if I had a mechanical keyboard as they hear me typing away in chat. When I pulled the keyboard out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the massive USB cable and 2 USB connectors. At first I was at a loss as to why there were two and didn’t have the space in my computer to plug it up if it needed it. However, the second connector is used for the passthrough connection on the back of the keyboard, for other peripherals. With that though, this cable is like a power cord, long and thick, not the easiest thing to pack away if you are packing your keyboard up. I know the mini has a detachable USB cord and feel it would have been great for this one as well. The detachable hand rest is a smooth touch, but also not best for flexible environments as it easily comes off with any movement. For instance when I play in my living room and use my lap, the palm rest will tend to pop off. However, on a desk there are no issues at all with it moving. Still a solid keyboard with loads of customization and ways to express yourself.

    Fanatic about FNATIC

I love this keyboard, simply put. First the keys are nicely defined and distinct, their is the perfect amount of pressure needed to press a key, and distance between the keys that it just feels great to use. Gaming aside, just general usage for things like e-mail, it just feels right. Second, it just plain looks cool. The lighting effects on this keyboard are gorgeous Third - WOW can you customize this keyboard for what you are doing. You will need to download the app from FNATIC, but the app is really easy to use. The keyboard has 4 profiles - configuring 1) Colors and style, want the lights to be solid? Fade Up? Left to right - Specific color(s)? whatever you want you can do for each profile. 2) Keybinding - you can set the function button and a key press, or the just a key press to launch a macro, remap to another key,. launch an application, or open a file. This gives you a TON of flexibility to have the keyboard operate as you want it to within each various profile, perhaps different games, applications, or just daily usage, you can set this keyboard up to do whatever you want it to, 4 different times. 3)Competition mode - This mode is unique to each profile as well, so you can have up to 4, but this allows you to actually disable keys as well, and even set specific colors ( or off ) to keys , making it perfect for games that don't require the whole keyboard It also has a full USB port on the back of the keyboard, I personally chose to use it for the FNATIC mouse, but it is a fully powered USB port and can be used for anything. The attached pictures are to show you the keyboard lit up, along with the USB port, the second is competition mode where several keys are disabled and not back lit. This keyboard is really nice, and along with the FNATIC mouse, a perfect choice for casual to hardcore gamers alike.

This keyboard is extremely comfortable and response is lightning fast! I really like the cherry mx red keys. They are not that loud as blues and the travel is linear responsive. The keyboard comes with a wrist rest which has 3 positions, I have small hands and I find it more comfortable in the 3rd position (outward). It's a very nice texture, soft and firm at the same time. The keyboard also has media buttons and a scroll wheel for volume. There is also a competition key, which leaves the keyboard with just one color and disables the windows key for when you're serious about gaming or competing. Only con is that the cable is thick and not removable, but then again, you get an extra usb input (usb hub, but just one). The OP software will keep your firmware updated (there was one upon opening it) and will allow to customize the colors and also to create macros should you choose for different keystrokes combos. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a mechanical one that isn't that "clicky loud" but still super responsive for gaming!

My first impression after using it for a week, its Wow! Qulaity is amazing and very responsive. I like the fact that I can adjust the intensity of RGB lightning, cherry switches are very precise and sound cool. I was glad when I saw the attachable arm rest is included in the packaging. Of course I recommend it those like mechanical and expectation of long lasting of use.

    Impressive Gaming Keyboard

FNATIC's new STREAK full-size keyboard is a gamer's dream. It uses CHERRY MX switches for its keys. The STREAK keyboard package comes with the keyboard, sticker sheet, palm rest, and user guide. Keyboard comes with a manufacture's 2-yr warranty. PROS: ----------- * Very cool-looking. It has a near infinite number of light variations which can be controlled by the downloadable software via the FNATIC website. That's the first thing you notice about the keyboard when powered up. * Extremely comfortable palm rest made of PU (Poly) synthetic leather. Great perforated look too. It's magnetic, connects to the bottom/base, and can be moved forwards/backward for the perfect palm "fit". * Every key is programmable via the software. Whatever you need any key or function to do, you can pretty much do it. * Extremely great response time. There is absolutely NO noticeable lag in keystrokes to screen. * Keyboard has an extra USB port for other devices or charging, located north of the #4 key (see picture). * Keyboard has an incredible feel of durability to it. I think the chassis is aluminum-based. It just feels solid. Not flimsy at all. * Easy-to-use Volume wheel on upper-right of keyboard. No searching for volume up/down buttons. Feel the wheel - much easier. * Lightweight yet it doesn't move easily. Rubber feet keep it still. CONS: ----------- * Keys are quite loud when pressed. Not really a clicking noise from the key itself, but when the key strikes the bottom of the plate and when it hits the top after completely released. There is no sound in between. But if playing with headphones/mic, you likely won't hear much of it... but those around you will. * Palm rest has a tendency to come off easily if you need to pick up the keyboard and move it. It doesn't fold under completely... if it rotates too far, it just comes off. If you don't move your keyboard much, it won't be a problem. OTHER OBSERVATIONS: ------------------------------------ * The Cherry MX switches are a bit loud but incredibly easy to press, sometimes by accident. That can be good and bad, depending on what you're doing. It's something that you have to get used to as it is does not have the feel of a traditional keyboard by Logitech or HP for example. * Keyboard cord has a split USB connection. One USB is used to power the keyboard for use. The other USB connector is used to power up the spare USB port on the keyboard itself if needed. If you want to charge or use another device with that port, this split part of the USB keyboard cord must also be plugged up to your PC. Obviously, if used, your (gaming) mouse can be plugged into this port so it doesn't have to be plugged into your PC directly. * The keyboard has a "competition" mode, but I tend to gravitate towards my own configuration as it changes some settings when in that mode. * Keyboard comes with a "Signature Plate" which is a magnetic plate that light passes thru and shows your gamer name (or any name) that you want on the front of your keyboard. According to the FNATIC website, these customizable plates will be available at a later date. It's unclear if there will be a charge for these plates. The given plate just has "FNATIC" on it with their logo. At this price point, they should offer each customer 1 free customizable plate. * The keyboard cable is quite thick coming out of the back of the keyboard. It basically has 2 cables running inside it though. * The keyboard has one leg-height for its feet to prop it up and they aren't very tall. But it didn't need much elevation to be comfortable though. CONCLUSION: ===================== This is a great gaming keyboard. After a few hours of playing Fortnite on this keyboard (and also with the FNATIC FLICK 2 mouse), I had absolutely no issues moving around in the game with great accuracy. The only thing that took some getting used to, was the ease of depressing the keys. They are almost too easy to press. I did not play in "competition" mode and it felt fine. I thoroughly enjoyed playing with this keyboard and would recommend over any basic keyboard. I cannot, however, state how it compares to other MX switch keyboards as I have not used others (brown, blue, black, etc) in the past.

I had the chance to review the Fnatic - Streak Wired Gaming Mechanical Cherry Red MX RGB Switch Keyboard. Out of the box you get the keyboard and wrist pad. The top of the keyboard body is made from aluminum while bottom of the body is plastic. The wrist pad is frame is also aluminium and the pad is cushioned which is quite comfortable BUT it's shorter then I feel it should be. I find myself in an awkward hand position because of the pad being short the pad is actually on my palm and not my wrist. Aesthetically, the keyboard is very plain. Functionally, the keys feel great, controls are easy and simple. The keyboard has a built in volume control instead turning down the volume on the speakers, you can conveniently control volume from your keyboard. The keyboard also has some preset lighting control as well. I also own another high end keyboard and the lighting is control via software which is a bit more cumbersome. I would say I do like this keyboard and can honestly recommend it my only wish would be to extend the wrist pad.

Really cool keyboard and as a beginner with my computer and games I’m glad it keeps me entertained enough to continue to want to learn. Playing an Epic game that I have on consoles and it’s pretty tough but I am liking that I can create profiles on the keyboard that are tuned into my skill set. If anything the awesome lighting features are benefit enough to get this keyboard!

So I needed to upgrade my keyboard when my space bar went out recently. I was looking for a keyboard with slightly quieter keys then the Mx Brown that I had. I had never heard of fnatic, but my boyfriend explained who they were and I figured I would give it a shot. I will say the keyboard looks absolutely lovely on my desk! The colors are super bright and it has all the functions without taking up too much of my desk space. It's a dream to type on! The keys are fairly large and well spaced so that you don't really accidentally hit the wrong key ever. The wrist rest is also both comfortable and looks really nice. I like that it's magnetic so you can move it around to wherever is comfortable. I downloaded the software which allows you to switch some of the modes, I sort of wish it had a few more options but all of them are very pretty! I am super happy with my purchase!

The keyboard is pretty nice. I've used a lot of mechanical boards and this one was up there with some of the best I've used. Unfortunately the software is still in Beta and is missing a LOT of features that you would expect from a company like Razer or SteelSeries. My guess is that this is why the board is so much less expensive. The board itself is really high quality.

This is my first mechanical keyboard and I got it on sale ($65) - The keyboard itself is good quality. Keys are high, which I think is better in general. Lots of different options with the RGB settings and macros, etc. when you use the Fnatic application on your computer. There's also a USB port on the keyboard that can be used to power other devices (you don't have to do this and only need one of the usb cables to actually power the keyboard itself). Only change I would prefer I better quality keycaps themselves but that' more of a customization option for me in the future. Overall, great product for the price!

I got sick and tired of using my Macbook Pro's keyboard. So I bought this. I have not been disappointed. It works on both Mac and Windows platforms. The only issue I have with the keyboard sometimes, is that upon a restart the keyboard will type the wrong characters until you are able to open the keyboard's software. So I have to unplug it until the software is launched. Minor bug that isn't difficult to resolve. I'm assuming this is only an issue on Mac OS.

The lighting features on this keyboard are fantastic as is the volume wheel. I also like the extra USB slot on the keyboard as I can plug my Xbox controller right into it. The best part about this keyboard is the “competition mode” which makes it all one set light and turns off the windows key so you don’t actually hit it mid game session.

I was skeptical about this keyboard but I decided to try something new and I’m glad I did because it doesn’t have that annoying clicks from the razor mechanical keyboards that all your friends can hear and the customization and ease of use are phenomenal and the wrist pad is sturdy.
