This focusrite unit provides a good starting point for home studio recording. The online DAW tools are a little complicated to set up but provide more professional capabilities.

So far, so good. Up til now, I'd been using a USB mic to input for recording. This does that and has a direct line for guitars, basses, etc. A little disappointed that Protools is not included as advertised. I really like this.

Had to rerurn . It didnt work right. The lights around the knob things kept flickering and sometimes didnt work at all. Plugged it in my speakers and no sound . I ended up switching it for the Rode caster pro 2 . Expensive but i love it so far

A simple setup for guitar soloists or podcasters. Great extra options such as the "air" and 48V setting such that studio condenser mics can be used. Takes up very little space.

The setup was easy and straightforward. There is some rare garbled audio that I didn't experience with my previous pre-amp, but I think I can figure it out.
