I ordered this for my wife, who saw it on clearance at BestBuy.com. The product is currently 3rd gen and retails from $129-$359 on foreo.com, based on the model you’re buying (UFO 3, UFO 3 LED, UFO 3 mini or UFO 3 go). Since this product is the 1st gen mini, it’s on a pretty deep discount and an amazing deal. Shipping was quick and it arrived in a couple of days. Set up was easy and the app is easy to use, although you can also use it without the app. The product build seems pretty solid and it performed as expected. Having used the device a few times now, these are her thoughts: LED lights: gimmicky because it’s only the perimeter that lights up, and the need to constantly move the device means there’s not enough LED exposure to make a difference T-sonic vibrations: the massage feature is nice Thermotherapy: the warming feature is nice No cryotherapy: no big deal since she doesn’t miss what she never had FOREO app: the app plays well with their branded masks, but you can use the UFO without the app. The app also functions as a remote control to adjust temperature, vibrations and lights. Branded masks: you can use non-FOREO masks (Reddit has some good hacks) So, her overall thoughts are that it’s a nice device to have (especially on clearance) but not a necessity. And for someone like herself who dislikes traditional masks (drippy, doesn’t fit and takes 1/2 hour), this device gets the job done in 2 minutes.

I have a whole collection of skin care products. I have to say these masks and this little unit do an amazing job of making my skin feel super soft! I have to say the directions were a bit confusing. They have a brochure with pictures. I was a little surprised when it started making different vibrations as I used it. The app is not as user friendly as I would like either and didn't answer my questions about use that I didn't find in the little manual. You can change the color of the light and set the intensity and add heat but it doesn't save the changes as soon as you leave that part of the app. It comes with 2 boxes of masks with 6 sheets each. Each new box costs about $10 so it's not cheap but it's not an "every day" treatment. I do like that it charges by a USB port and not batteries. I will definitely order some more boxes of masks. They have Acai berry, Green tea, Coconut oil just to name a few.

My life is pretty hectic. Managing meetings, always being on the go, it's important to have something tha can get the job done and quickly. The UFO Mini provides a facial cleaning experience in a matter of minutes. You are able to select a treatment for under two minutes and/or for up to 3 minutes. For my skin type I prefer to use the 1 minute 30 seconds treatement. Followed by using a toner and moisturizer. To use the UFO mini, simply download the app, register your warranty, and then attach the mask on top of the device and lock it in with the white ring. The LED light allows for the nutrients in the mask to aborb into the skin easy. I tried out the Foreo Glow Addict mask and the Make My Day Mask. The Glow Addict mask has a pearl infused and assists with brighting up the skin. The Make My Day masks provides hydration and includes Hyaluronic Acid and Red Algae. When using the masks with the UFO, my skin felt clean and could feel it through the day. I like that UFO provides a selection of masks. Thinking of purchasing the Green Tea mask. Used this product for two weeks. Makes a nice addition to having a spa like experience.

The Foreo UFO Mini works well and the facial treatments will definitely help improve the smoothness of your skin. My girlfriend and I tried the device together, as she has more oily skin and I have drier skin, I noticed a huge difference right away and she did after three of the treatments! The device is easy to set up, though the instructions can be a little unclear at first, there was no code to scratch and scan, the app actually "discovers" it when you turn it on. This did cause a little frustration, but the messiness of setup is what dings the device a star, it is cleaner than setting up and applying a full facial moisturizing treatment, but definitely not something I would store in a backpack or a purse. That said, everything else worked fantastically and its a great system to use on a variety of skin types, even worked through my beard and on my girlfriend's stubborn skin! I would still highly recommend this product, just be aware that it can get messy. This is a very compact and easy to use skincare device!

My wife wanted to get Foreo's UFO and that has the cryotherapy function. This is the mini and doesn't have that function but my wife said it's not a big deal. Just wanted people to be aware of the difference. Setup is really easy. Simply download the app on your Android or iPhone device and create an account. Once signed up you can input some details so the device knows what's best for you. You can however use it without the app but for a more tailored approach I highly recommend using the app. It's super simple to use and that's one if the main things my wife lives about this. You just pop the make on to the heat ring and then lock it down and that's it. 90 seconds start and you simply move the UFO mini on your face. Her skin feels so much more hydrated and she loves the simplicity of this device. It's a super fast way to take care of your skin without messy creams and such. Wife approved

The Foreo is a hand held facial cleaning tool. It fits in the palm of your hand and is easy to use. The heat setting is warm enough and feels lovely on your skin. It’s rechargeable, and the charge lasts for multiple uses. The holding stand keeps it off your sink, keeps it clean and out of harms way if others share the sink with you. The stand is sturdy enough and does not wobble. The masks that come with the Foreo make your skin feel soft and leave it looking radiant. They do not have an oder and do not irritate my sensitive skin.

I got this for my wife who is home taking care of our two kids. She complained that her skin got really dehydrated and sensitive due to not enough sleep and no time to take care the skin. She loves it a lot and uses it all the time since she got it. She calls it the best quick spa at home. You must download the FOREO app and pair the device, choose the mask and you’re ready to go (the app is very easy to use). It has nice and warm touch to the skin, 90 mins automatic off. Even without the app you can use it too, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It is easy to grab for the morning or before going to sleep or any time you feel like it. It is a really good size and the battery can last really long time.

I got this for my wife who has always stayed on top of caring for her skin, so much so that it's one of the first things people comment on when they find out her actual age. But she hasn't always just stuck to one product or method and is always trying new things in order to find what's actually best. All that said, she was excited to try this out and the following is all of her thoughts in her own words on this product after using it nightly for 2 weeks. "First, it requires use of the app, but the app and the device are very easy to use. As you're using the ufo mini, it feels nice against your skin, but it's too short of a cycle. I ended up running 2 cycles back to back. I didn't really notice a difference in my skin, I think it would work just as well using your own serum or cream as using their masks and I hated all of the waste created by the mask packaging. The charge lasts a long time though and it's easy to clean. It's also very compact and nice for travel." Overall, while it has some nice features, it's not much of an improvement over her usual routine and she doesn't plan on continuing to use it.

This Foreo mini is wonderful. What I like about the Foreo mini is the ease of use. This product makes your skin very soft with an amazing glow. The heat from the device is comforting and I like the fact that it has an App you can download and program your favorite facials. Would definitely recommend.

FOREO UFO MINI Best Buy Tech Insider Network QUALITY AFFORDABLE SPA TREATMENT AT HOME OVERALL The FOREO UFO MINI was fun and easy to use once you get through the setup. The package was really deluxe, and would make a great gift for that special someone. It was a deluxe opening experience for sure. The treatment itself is very soothing during both the pulsing and heating portions. The FOREO UFO MINI includes a nice selection of mask options (there are 2 boxes (7 each) that came with the kit. The app/documentation says there are 12 varieties of masks available. If my match is correct, the cost per treatment between $3 and $4 each, which is not excessive when compared to other single use brands or a spa treatment. After 3 days of use it left skin feeling softer and looking fresher all day. SETUP For a less technical person the setup, pairing with a phone, loading the app, it can potentially be a little frustrating. The included instructions were not great, and tt would be helpful if written directions including more set up, and how frequently product should be used. At first, the app is not super intuitive additionally is hard to follow the app while doing the treatment. I’m sure this is all learning curve related, and eventually it will become easier. I would like the length of treatment be selectable from the start instead of having to select “repeat” just let the time (for example 3 minutes) be selected at the start of the treatment. RECOMMENDATION Overall, it is a nice additional to a good skin care treatment. I assume the app will get better over time, but honestly is not horrible, just not automatically intuitive. I would recommend the FOREO UFO MINI.

In the ocean of beauty products, the UFO mini attempts to offer spa level treatment with its small device. Out of the box you get the UFO mini, a proprietary power plug, two starter mask packs, an individual starter mark, a plastic stand, and inserts. So the way the device works is by removing the plastic rim, place a wet mask on top of the base, and then place the plastic rim back over the wet mask. When you buy most rechargeable devices, they charge it before packing it for at least one initial use, and in this case, this wasn't done. So as I followed the instructions, and turned it on, it lasted roughly 15 seconds before it shut off. I let the device charge overnight and tried again. So you're supposed to press the function button once for day masks, and twice for night. The big problem in this case is that neither of the starter masks are a night mask, so I couldn't test out the night functionality. All this makes me believe that there wasn't much thought and effort in what would go into the packaging. Here's the biggest letdown. I used the UFO for two days, for a total of four masks. You would think that after the initial use, you would feel at least the smallest bit of difference, but there was no difference. I thought that the UFO would vibrate at least a little to help open up the pores a bit, but since it uses light technology, I don't know how it's supposed to help, but in the end I didn't see or feel a bit of difference. I could take the wet masks and just wipe them on my face and it probably would have been the same. All in all, it's an interesting product, looks pretty nice, but after using it, I don't see or feel any different. The fact that I'm supposed to keep buying more masks makes it a long term investment. I don't see it being worth it for its lack of effectiveness.

Got this for my daughter at she likes to do masks and whatnot on occasion. Once she figured out the app it is not hard to use and the stuff has pretty nice scent too. Kinda difficult to find replacement masks for this device though, so not sure how long she'll stick with this.

The FOREO UFO Mini 2 features Thermotherapy & T-sonic pulsations, and full-spectrum LED light therapy to infuse mask serums deep into the skin, giving you spa-like treatments at home. Using it requires downloading their app onto a mobile phone or tablet. The package comes with the UFO Mini 2, a little plastic stand for storage on your countertop, and a charging cord (but not a charging base/block). Charging it up takes about 1 to 1.5 hrs & the LED light will become a solid lit ring when fully charged. Once fully charged, it will last about 40 treatments before needing another recharge. Both the UFO Mini 2 and the app are easy to use. Download and open the app, choose a treatment and the app prompts you through the steps. Treatments last 1.5 to 2 minutes, followed by a 20 to 30 second wind-down period. During the treatment, while you are gliding the UFO Mini 2 over your skin, a meditative voice guides you through each phase of the treatment. Afterwards, you have the option to repeat the treatment (good option to treat the neck) or end it. The color of LED lights, length and intensity of heat & sonic vibrations varies depending on the chosen treatment. Once you’re finished with the treatment(s), remove the ring and the used serum mask. Rinse the UFO Mini 2 and the ring under warm water (or use soap & warm water depending on the treatment that was used), then dry and store on the stand. Overall I really like this beauty tool. Having used it every evening for about 2 weeks, my skin feels more moisturized and stays moisturized longer than just using a serum or mask alone. The thermotherapy and the T-sonic pulses are my favorite part of the treatments—it feels amazing and is very relaxing. I give it 3.5 stars based on the following pros & cons: Pros: • The thermotherapy & T-sonic functions do work to boost the absorption and effects of serums compared to a serum or mask alone. My skin felt more hydrated and softer after using it every evening for 2 weeks.. Additionally, it felt like my skin stayed hydrated longer. Quick easy way to get spa-like hydrated skin everyday without the hassle of going in for a treatment. As with most at-home beauty devices, consistency and long term use yields the best results. • The UFO Mini 2 and the app is easy to use & very intuitive. Beyond using it for the treatments, the app also provides directions for using and cleaning. Under “Settings”, there is a list of available serum/masks along with benefits and ingredients and also allows you to buy the masks directly through FOREO. So far, I haven't had any major issues with the app. • There are a variety of treatment masks to choose from for the UFO Mini 2. For the circular masks that ‘clip’ over the metal circle of the UFO Mini 2, there are 8 treatment options. For those who like to use the full sheet masks that lay over your face, there are 3 options. • You can also easily use a non-FOREO mask or serum with it. With previous versions, if you wanted to use another brand’s mask or your favorite serum, you would have to save the packaging from a FOREO mask and use your phone to scan the UPC code in order to start the treatment. In this version, you can choose a FOREO’s options that is similar to your mask or serum without going through that hassle. • Beyond the listed treatments, you can also customize your own treatments. Under “Smart Control”, you can choose the color of the LED light, the intensity of the T-sonic pulsations, and whether or not to use heat. • It is small and lightweight (about 2 ⅞” diameter, 1 ¼” thick, & weighs almost 3.75 oz), making it traveler friendly. Drop a few of the TSA-friendly masks into your carryon and it will be great for reviving your skin after a flight. • It is waterproof and easy to clean. • The FOREO brand masks prices are in-line with masks from other brands. CONS: • The shape & design of the Mini 2 is great for treating the larger areas of the face. But it does not allow you to treat skin underneath the eyes (for dark circles, wrinkles, puffiness, and bags) or the section of the nasolabial folds closer to the base of the nose. For those areas, you would need to purchase the FOREO IRIS (approximately $139). I feel those areas of the face are the ones that would benefit most from the hydration boost and retention that this tool provides, so it was disappointing that FOREO required buying another device to treat them. Deducted one star for this miss. • There are 8 full-spectrum LED lights located along the perimeter of the metal circle that creates the heat & vibrations for the thermotherapy & T-sonic pulsations . This ¼-inch wide ring of LED lights is not enough to provide any significant treatment. Most LED light therapy devices that provide significant improvements have more lights per square inch and require that the skin be exposed to the lights for at least 3 minutes. While it is a nice addition and functioned, I don’t think this feature does much to improve my skin. Deducted a half star for this. I found it time consuming to find out which treatment masks that pairs with the UFO Mini’s. So the list below is for those interested. Currently the following 8 mask treatments are available for the UFO Mini’s and full-sized UFO’s: Make My Day Call it a Night Coconut Oil Acai Berry H2Overdose Glow Addict Youth Junkie Manuka Honey The remaining 6 treatment options require the cooling (cryotherapy) function only available on the full-sized UFOs. I got the FOREO UFO Mini2 for my wife as she indicated she would like one. It arrived in a very nice package and included the UFO Mini2 device in pink, a USB plug to charge it with, 8 Make My Day hydrating masks and 6 Glow Addict activated masks and a stand for the UFO Mini device. To use the device correctly, you should download the FOREO app and follow the instructions to pair your device. Features and Benefits (provided by FOREO): - The UFO features 3 advanced technologies to boost the effect of mask formulas for a better result than a sheet mask alone. - Thermotherapy warms the skin to soften and prep skin, infusing mask ingredients deeper - T-Sonic pulsations facilitate absorption of active mask ingredients while providing a soothing facial massage - Each mask routine incorporates LED light therapy to address different skin concerns - Waterproof - Limited 2 year warranty My wife reports she really likes the UFO Mini 2 and finds it quite easy to use and the results terrific. Replacement masks are reasonably priced and readily available. I would recommend this device to a friend.

Picked this up for my wife. Syncing the UFP to my wife's iPhone was easy. Foreo does require you to create an account and sign in, which was kind of a bummer for me. Seems like all products do that nowadays. I fully charged the unit first, which only took a half hour or so. There is no wall wart in the box, just a USB cable. So you have to plug the UFO into an existing port or connect via USB to the computer to charge. In use, the UFO is super easy to use. You take the masks that are included in the box, place them on the UFO, connect to the Foreo app, and go through the different options. Press start, and the Foreo app talks you through using the UFO. It uses laser and sonic vibration to clean, tighten, and moisturize the face. My wife has used the unit for a week now and is very happy with the improvement in her facial skin. She likes the moisturizing effect of the Make My Day masks, and likes those over the other options (and Foreo has a ton of options when it comes to masks). The masks can get to be a pricey investment. The Make My Days are $10 for 7 masks. If you used the unit daily, it would cost $40 or so a month. Other masks can cost as much as $20 for 6 masks. Depending on how often the unit is used, it can definitely get pricey. All-in-all, the wife is pleased with the unit, but plans on tempering her use of it due to the constant need to replace the masks.

As I read the description of the Foreo UFO described as "the world’s first smart mask treatment to offer spa-level facial treatments in just 90 seconds”, her eyes lit up with excitement. Spa days are her love language and this was almost like the device that would keep on giving. She was excited to get started using it right away. Upon opening the sleek white box, you will find instruction manuals, a USB charging cord and a package of 2 different types of sheet masks. The Foreo beauty app needs to be downloaded to your phone, to select treatment types and is super easy to use. She just so happened to have two breakouts around the time it arrived so she opted for the Make My Day mask. The experience, she felt was pretty relaxing lasting about 90 seconds. The app starts it out explaining each step so you know what to do and what to expect. Start by moving the device around your face and neck in a circular motion to spread the mask essence evenly. It slowly starts to warm and emits a red LED light to calm inflammation. Next up, it switches to the green LED light with the science of its anti-aging benefits. The pulsing begins shortly thereafter pushing the serum from the sheet mask deep into the skin for maximum hydration benefits. She did note, that by the end of the cycle, the serum had absorbed into her skin and her skin felt extremely moisturized. She struggles with dryness and usually applies her high end moisturizer, morning and night after cleansing. She was able to use her moisturizer less, which is helpful, as the packages of the sheet masks are a bit pricey if you were to use them one to two times a day as recommended. She did feel a noticeable improvement in the texture of her skin almost overnight. It felt more smooth and supple. As far as the two breakouts, she can’t say for sure if aided in the healing process, but she did feel that the treatment helped dry out the breakouts more quickly than her regular facial cleansing routine. Due to the flat, circular design, she did feel that the UFO was hard to maneuver around her under eye area and nose. However, the device is soft and fits nicely into the palm of your hand. With everything having to be charged daily these days, adding another device was less than appealing, but she found the battery life to be impressive.

Bottom Line: The Foreo UFO Mini provides a face mask treatment in a small, lightweight package Pros: size; easy to use; pleasant warming and massage function Cons: app was confusing Review: The Foreo UFO Mini is a very small device and easy to use. The masks simply clip behind the attachment ring, and the device delivers a pleasant warming and massage function as you apply the mask. Cleanup is as easy as removing the mask and rinsing the unit with water. There's an app for the device, but my wife and I found it confusing and unnecessary. We had trouble getting the app to recognize the device, and even then, we didn't find the app particularly useful. We did wish there was a little bit more instruction on the masks (my wife wasn't sure how long she should let it sit or if she should wash her face).

My wife used this product and had a good overall experience with it. Easy setup out of the box. Comes with half a battery charge but charged it fully before first use. Comes with a usb charging cable and a sample mask in the packaging. Using the mask was easy itself. You have to download the app and create an account. Once done you have to link your device to the app in order to use it and get a step by step tutorial. The app is nice because you can pick the specific mask type you want and it gives you instructions. The only things my wife did not like was the inability to use the ufo mini around the nose area more efficiently due to the round shape of the ufo mini. Also while the ufo mini does warm up, it could be hotter and more soothing during treatment. She also found the app initially to be convoluted. While it does have guides for each mask plan as I indicated earlier, it almost suffers from too many options and additional buttons in the app itself making it confusing.
