    Mini Device, Exquisite Pampering

To start, the packaging of the actual product was challenging to open and took more time than I would have liked, but I appreciated that the device was packed securely. At first glance I assumed the device needed to be fully charged before first use but it actually doesn’t if you’re in a hurry to try it out. I downloaded the Foreo app prior to using the UFO Mini for the first time. I like the app because it allows you to control the device with your phone if you prefer doing it that way as well as pick a light color to enjoy (the different light settings are forms of Thermo-Therapy and each color provides a different skin/anti-aging benefit). Outside of that feature, and registering your device, that’s basically all the app has to offer. For my first experience with the UFO Mini I used the Make My Day Hydrating Mask. The UFO Mini is easy to hold since it’s the smaller version, and I found it easy to grip during its cycle. I love how easy the device is to use. All you do is hold down the button once the mask is fitted on to the flat side and secured by the plastic ring, and the UFO Mini will start doing the work for you. I used it for about a minute and it was a very relaxing experience compared to doing a regular sheet mask. It’s essentially like doing a spa treatment in the comfort of your home. There is extra serum in the mask pack, and you can apply that to the neck to avoid wasting it. The UFO Mini helps the mask treatment to penetrate the skin deeper than just the surface. After using the device, my skin felt very hydrated. The heat given off by the UFO Mini opens the pores and preps the skin for your remaining skincare products (I use serum followed by a cream). I am hopeful that consistent use of this device will help my blackheads come to the surface and decongest my pores. It does state that the device is waterproof, and after I was finished using it I rinsed it with warm soap and water like the instructions state, and patted it dry it with a towel. I am a little concerned with water damage happening over time; however, the UFO Mini comes with a 2 year warranty through Foreo which gives me peace of mind. I would actually consider traveling with the UFO Mini because of how compact it is.

    Solid with some drawbacks

    1) The instructions leave much to be desired. There's nothing written on the packaging or even in the app until you start a treatment. I wasted the first mask because I had no idea what to do until the treatment actually started. 2) It feels very nice & the treatment is calming. I like that there are different treatments & masks you can buy to go with it. 3) I'm not sure if it's doing anything for my skin because I'll need to use it longer but it feels nice so far. Overall, a solid product if a little on the expensive side. Time will tell if the results are better than cheaper options.

This Foreo UFO mini is something my wife uses so these are mostly her thoughts about it. Overall, she is very happy with it and uses it frequently. It has a nice choice of masks that can be attached to the device or you can use your own serum if you prefer. Each mask targets various types of blemishes and have varying effects including brightening, hydrating, anti-aging and others. You can use it with their app or without as the masks communicate with the UFO mini. The app gives you more options such as a software updates to the device, refills of masks, pre-programmed settings and connectivity control. She likes the SmartControl option which allows her to choose an LED light therapy for specific skin conditions. After using it for a few days, she has commented on how good the warmness of the device feels on her face and the difference it has made from the redness caused by Rosacea. She would definitely recommend this and has already told a few friends about her experience with it.

Compact and convenient! This app controlled face product does wonders for the complexion, especially for it's size. It vibrates, heats, and has LED light to help penetrate pores and deep clean the skin. A lil messy at first getting the mask on the product, and the instructions were pieced together from different places. The overall process, once downloaded, was simple and effective.

2 minutes a Day to a Better Complexion

A small, easy to use 2 minute (or less) wonder for a better more beautiful complexion that is easy to use by following these instructions. Before first use - Download the FOREO app and follow the instructions to pair your UFO™ device. Typically you will only do this once. STEP 1 Prep for use Remove the attachment ring from UFO™, and secure mask on device by clipping the attachment ring back into place. STEP 2 Enjoy Gently glide UFO™ across clean, dry skin and massage the formula in using circular motions until the device turns off. STEP 3 Finishing touch Use your fingers to gently pat any remaining essence into your skin, until it is fully absorbed. At this point you are on your way toward a better more vibrant complexion. It is pleasant to use, providing a soothing experience. It is easy to hold – no gymnastics required. Over a 2-week period my skin tone improved and will hopefully continue to improve. It is attractive and well made, great for travel. There are numerous masks available – For example the optional Supercharged Mask Bundle contains: 1x6 H2Overdose Mask, 1x6 Matte Maniac Mask, 1x6 Youth Junkie Mask, 1x6 Glow Addict Mask, 1x6 Shimmer Freak Mask, 1x6 Green Tea Mask, 1x6 Coconut Oil Mask, 1x6 Bulgarian Rose Mask, 1x6 Manuka Honey Mask, 1x6 Acai Berry Mask, 1x7 Call It a Night Mask and 1x7 Make My Day Mask Enjoy!

    It works....

Let me start with this is a really cool device. It really does work, and the results are great. The warming action feels really good on your skin. This is a great device for do-it-yourself treatment. The mask is difficult to get on the device and make it stay. It is not the most user-friendly because it is controlled totally by the app, whereas I would rather use buttons on the device itself. I think for a younger person who is used to using their phone to control everything it would be very easy to do. Bottom line is it does work.

    Annoyingly Bad

To use the UFO Mini, you must pair the device with an app and use proprietary "masks" that you order from the company. The company describes the functions of the device using terms that are misleadingly complicated: (1) "Thermotherapy" means that the device warms up during use, (2) "T-sonic pulsations" means that the device vibrates (more like a buzz), & (3) "LED light therapy" means that a LED light on the device changes colors in association with the guided instructions from the app. A buzzy little facial tool should not require an app to use - that is the first annoying aspect of this device. But the little proprietary facial pads make the UFO Mini most annoying. To use this device you remove an individually wrapped little cloth-y disk from its foil wrapping and attach it by way of a clasping ring onto the device. The cloth is flimsy and soaked in their facial solution. You select the type of facial treatment in the app and the app tells the UFO to begin its cycle and the app then guides you through the brief facial. All the device actually does is warm up slightly and buzz - it never really achieves a level of either true warmth or relaxing massage. The facial fluids that soak the disk are viscous and the thin fabric of the disk does not hold enough to fully cover the face. I also found that the flimsy disk caught on my whiskers (one day of growth) and subsequently frayed the fabric and pulled it from the holding mechanism. In short - this is an annoyingly poor mechanism for applying (proprietary) emollients and other treatments to your face (using an app). Absolute trash.

My wife tells me that the Foreo UFO Mini is a quick and easy way to simulate a sheet mask, but with the added benefit of thermal, T-Sonic pulsation, and LED therapy, all of which help to the products to penetrate the skin. And she says it feels amazing. All I know is that it makes her skin look great!

Seems like a lot to do just to wash your face. Comes with an app that instructs you why to do and connects to the UFO which helps it know how long to wash for and the different settings it should be on. Felt good after using
