2004 Oscar winner for Best Picture among other awards, is a fun, nostalgic, romantic comedy/drama with Tom Hanks in an Oscar winning performance. Traveling through time and experiences if a joy to watch with many dramatic and moving moments, that bring back lots of fond memories. Technology at it's highest level and then Blu-Ray and 4K look amazing. A DEF winner.

My primary reason for getting this was to house my 4K disc; with the recent 25th anniversary release, I found the cover and slipcover lacking in the "pleasing to the eyes" department and this steelbook took the best of the original white bench cover and the new bluish tint and made a very appealing design. Highly recommended, and it comes with digital copy!

This movie is a treasure, something everyone should see at least once. The Ultra HD picture is excellent in my opinion, and does the movie justice. 5 stars all the way!

Forrest Gump is probably one of Tom Hanks top rated movies. Tom Hanks really doesn't do many bad movies he's done a few but not too many. Forrest Gump for anybody who's seen it is one of the movies that teaches you lessons as it goes through. It's also got a good co-starring actress Sally Fields playing his mother. And she was right what she told him life is like a box of chocolates you never know what you're going to get. For a gentleman supposedly with say it below average intelligence he gets lucky and lucky a lot. It the movie is entertaining it's well-written well scripted and it's all out just a good movie worth having in your collection. And being that it's steelbook makes it even better it's worth a couple extra bucks definitely.

I've seen parts of this movie never the whole thing but I seen it in a steelbook and figured it was the best time to watch it and buy it it's a great movie

One of my favorites, great to have on 4k. It's one I'll rewatch and never get tired of.

The year was 1995. I got laid off from my job and was lost emotionally. I was ready to end things. But I wanted to see this movie. So hours after being laid off I found myself at the theater and this story/film saved my life. Gave me hope and inspired me to keep running! A classic that never grows old. Tom Hanks is a master actor.

Another classic with a quality 4k release. If you’re a fan of the movie this will be a good one for the collection.

I watched this movie about 10 times and I still enjoy every minute of it. And now in 4K, with an image and a spectacular sound. There is no way not to enjoy such a well-made film that tells the recent history of the US seen from the look of Forest, which has some special capabilities. Exciting, fun and to reflect

This was a first purchase of this movie and it didn't let me down. Picture & sound was great . This story isn't hard to watch over and over .

This movie is about a man named Forrest Gump and how the things he does in his life put him in the middle of a lot of historic events and allows him to meet a lot of important people in history this is a fictional movie. This is a very good movie that I have enjoyed watching for a long time.

This Blurry is worth the price just to have the sound track which is loaded with scores of classic rock hits. Add in performances by Tom Hanks & Robin Wright as the classic couple and Gary Sinise as Forrest's mentor and eventual friend = a movie well worth having in any collection.

This movie is another one of my favorites . I wanted it in Blu-ray with digital. This is a special movie because they made a scene on San Francisco Street in Flagstaff Az . I used to walk up this street to see my eye doctor and my daughters 7th grade math teacher was in the running scene.

The film looks great and the steelbook is very nice although they could have added some artwork inside the case. The discs are the same as the 25th anniversary edition, lots of special features including two commentaries and over three hours of special features on the second Blu Ray.

I have never seen this movie before, can't wait to! Came in excellent condition, you can never go wrong with Tom Hanks!

Have recently viewed this movie. I saw it when it first came out 25 years ago and enjoyed it very much. Had forgotten parts of it but enjoyed watching once again. I love Tom Hanks and he performed incredibly well. Will watch this movie many more times in the future.

Purchase and upgraded the Blu-ray Disc from my DVD copy. Came with the digital code. Haven't watch this movie in years, best version and experience I ever had watching.

Tom Hanks is at his best in this Robert Zemeckis film. Forrest Gump takes you through some major happenings in our US history, all involving the title character. Forrest is a little slow but does not let that affect him. A definite must see movie, even 25 years later.

What can be said about Forrest Gump? One of the greatest films of all time that is worthy of multiple viewings. This classic film has one of the best story lines ever and Tom Hanks is simply at his talented best with his performance as a simple man who, despite being somewhat physically handicapped with rather low intelligence, gets involved with so many life experiences that touches the lives of so many around him. He gets a college degree, then serves his country in Vietnam. While on patrol during a routine operation, the platoon is ambushed, and Forrest's bravery saves the lives of many other soldiers in his platoon, including Lieutenant Dan, his platoon leader, who lost his legs and wanted to die with honor in the field instead, by making it his destiny. But Lieutenant Dan eventually thanks Forrest for his heroic unselfish bravery, despite earlier bitterness, as the two of them create the "Bubba Gump Shrimp Company" after fulfilling a promise to his fallen platoon-mate Bubba to start a shrimping business after they served in Vietnam. Gary Sinise's performance as Lieutenant Dan is just superb. Other great performances such as Sally Field as Forrest's mom and Robin Wright as Jenny, who is Forrest's childhood friend and eventually does win her heart and they do get married. Director Robert Zemeckis and screenwriter Eric Roth, as well as the story based on the novel by Winston Groom make this oscar winning film a true treasure. The 4K picture is very good and the best this movie has ever looked. Highly recommend this 4K version to all Forrest Gump fans who know that "life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get."
