Haven't watched the copy I just bought since I purchased it for a vacation home and the previous owner took the DVD player. I now bought a replacement and will enjoy watching the movie again.

This movie is honestly a roller coaster! Its a genuine love story with a unique point of view. Tom Hanks is a great actor and it is apparent in this film. I practically shed a tear at the end.

Look, everyone has already seen Forest Gump so I really can't say anything about it except the movie is really good. I only bought this again because I collect steelbooks every once in a while.

This fantastic movie looks great for its anniversary edition. Still, all these years later, this is a great movie to watch. 4K gives it a nice upgrade, but the sound has definitely improved

Directed by Robert Zemeckis, who also has another Tom Hanks gem to his credit, "Cast Away", this movie is one of my all time favorites in any genre. A drama, a comedy, a tear-jerker, it is a movie of many genres rolled up into one. A simple man, an innocent on the loose, an idiot savant in one of the most turbulent eras in our nations history, Forrest Gump never waivers in his moral integrity and manages to touch and influence the lives of many - famous and infamous. He is physically handicapped, but becomes an athlete of renown. He has sub-par intelligence but manages a college degree, becomes a decorated soldier in Vietnam, and makes a fortune in the shrimping business. A friendless child (except for Jenny) he develops deep friendships, including Bubba (Mykelti Williamson) a black soldier who indoctrinates him into the shrimping business; Lieutenant Dan (Gary Sinise in one of his best roles) who Forrest looks up to as a role model even when Dan becomes bitter after losing his legs in combat; and he finally wins the love of the wayward childhood friend, Jenny (Robin Wright Penn, also in one of her best roles). Tom Hanks as Forrest is extraordinary...he has so many fine performances, its hard to say this is his best, but it is my personal favorite. In summary, this film is a masterpiece...watch it once or a hundred times, you will always enjoy it. And remember..."life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get."

Released on 4K for a second time, the Blu-ray included was also remastered. The 4K transfer makes this classic pop more vividly. The extras are the same as the original release Sapphire Edition.

My daughter was talking about wanting to see this movie and when I saw it on sale I picked it up. It is amazing how much of this movie has become a part of our pop culture today. a Classic!

The Steelbook packaging is clean and slick while the blu-ray presentation offers a pristine re-mastering of this twenty-five year-old gem of a film that continues to be as endearing as ever.

I was waiting for this to release, since only owned the DVD, but this was a must! Not only is this a exclusive design to Best Buy but it's also a 25th anniversary Blu ray with Digital copy.

Love this movie it was a great walk throughout the many decades of American history. The movie shows that no matter what disabilities you might have you can accomplish anything.

Love the movie and how loving and caring people can be. Love the little says like "Life is like a box of Chocolates". You can watch it over and over and see something different.

Hard to believe that this movie is 25 years old! Seems like just yesterday that I was watching it in the theater. Movie is still just as good and the 4k restoration looks brilliant.

One of my favorite movies. Had to add it to Blu-Ray collection. If everyone could be as kind and brave as Forrest Gump, there would be no problems in the world. Beautifully done.

Life is like a box of steelbooks, you never know what you’re going to get. Glad they came out with this on steelbook but it’s very disappointing that they didn’t release it in 4K.

Couldnt pass up the excellent price offered by Best Buy on this product for Black Friday. Also came with a digital copy, which is all I really care about these days.

Who hasn't seen this movie? It has some of the most memorable movie quotes ever. This great movie looks nice on Blu-ray and it comes with the digital version. It's only $10.

In our opinion the best movie ever made. It was funny and warm and yet sad. The actors and actresses were amazing, they made you feel like your were in the movie with them.
