It's basically Forza Horizon 3 but instead of Australia, it's set in the United Kingdom. Now I love the Forza Horizon games but I feel like maybe the formula is getting just a little stale. If you're fine with what is essentially more of the same, then you'll love Horizon 4.

It gives you endless options to race what ever and where ever you wont over a fictional open world setting in great britain in all 4 weather seasons. I am so glad i bought the ultimate instead of standard for the extra cars and map dlc because the game is worth every penny. There are no microtransactions in this game which is a rare plus compared to other money hungry game companys. This game is highly recommended to any body that likes cars at all.

Solid Arcade Racer

The game feels generally "floaty" to me and not as controlled as I remember Horizon 2 being. I didn't play 3 so maybe the change was made there. In any case, this game is really pretty and has a bunch of stuff to do. Definitely worth playing.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't like the control in this game, its too much like a simulator like Forza 7 and not fun like Forza Horizon 3, every time I drive off road it steers straight for a tree when going over 50mph (every freaking time) This is so stupid I wish I would have not purchased the Ultimate edition because I do not see myself playing this game much longer. The Graphics are very nice and it looks and sounds awesome, and that leads me to the next gripe. If you suspend the game and resume later (Xbox One X set to instant on) there will be no sound in the menus, but the xbox system still has audio, I have to close the app in xbox menu and then restart it and it looses my place and I think some of my progress. There is no way to tell if you game is actually saving or not. *Sigh* I am kind of disappointed in this game and I was so excited when I got it and it was kind of a let down.

Best overall arcade racing on console

Forza Horizon 4 is the best balance of arcade racer with aspects of simulation. Seriously in depth tuning. Genre leading livery creation. Great car models inside and out. Beautiful scenery. Fun, and keeps you coming back for more. If you want the most realistic racer on console, look elsewhere. Project Cars 2 or Assetto Corsa. But if you want a fun racer that is more easily approachable? Horizon is hard to beat.
