The FosPower banana plugs are adequate, but not as good as the more expensive Nakamichi Excel series plugs.
The Nakamichi plugs are more solid and heavier at 10g compared to the FosPower 8g, and have a thicker plug
wall at 1.7mm compared to 1.4mm of the FosPower The Nakamichi has a solid tip compared to the hollow FosPower, and the Nakamichi springs gripped the female speaker jack better. The Nakamichi is also easier to differentiate the positive from negative plug, has a better grip and comes with extra set of screws for thick 10AWG wire.
Both work, but if the budget stretches, the Nakamichi is a noticeably better plug in a side by side comparison.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Easy to use. Makes good contact with speaker wires. Mechanical contact insure wires stay attached
