I'm one of those people who like watches and has worn them for practically my entire life. Everything from Timex analog and digitals, Casio G-Shocks, and expensive automatics. My last attempts into the watch+tracker included a Pebble and a Microsoft band. But both of those left me wanting more out of to the watch in the, well, uh, watch department. So I picked up a Seiko automatic and just kind of forgot about it. Then I started to wonder, wouldn't it be nice to have the look and feel of a real watch, but have the 'smart' features as well? The Fossil is a nice looking watch. But not very good in either the smart category or the watch category. Time was difficult to read and it was not comfortable enough to wear to bed (to take advantage of the sleep tracking). Reading the date on it was nearly impossible for my eyes. The Fossil software on Android was nice and easy to use and offered a couple of interesting features. Even though I had a lot of negative to say about it, I would still recommend. Watch preferences can be very subjective. This is a well built and attractive watch and for some folks that may be enough. I decided to return the watch and go back to my Seiko for now. Am considering a Moto 360 Sport next.

This watch is not a feature-packed item but it does have some good features. The quality of the watch is what we all expect from Fossil. Overall I am pleased with my purchase

This watch is visually appealing with excellent night visibilty. It does not have all the features that a true smart watch has, but I did not expect this. I have not yet explored all the details of the Fossil Q app on my phone. The ones I have used are easy to install and work as expected. A solid performer.

Fossil G Grant Hybrid Smartwatch is a great watch for active men. The watch keep track of calories and number of steps on a daily basis. It smartly connect to your phone. The style and the leather band makes it easy to wear with anything.

The watch looks cool and the smart function is awesome, though it feels little heavy in wrist.

Is a very nice perspective for a "smartwatch"...with gadgets, you usually get one for one year to the new and better one gets out. This watch has the nice look of a classical watch with an extra bonus that can get you notifications, and different times zones. and the battery will last like a normal watch. very good for a normal daily use.

Your associate told me that the hybrid would do things that a smart watch would do. Connect to internet and read messages etc. I returned it and bought a real smart watch elsewhere.
