You also get a few other things like features other people don't get and being able to download a video on your devices so bandwidth is not an issue when on the go, but you still need an internet connection to initially get it started. (not sure if it works on airplane mode- will try that this summer) If you live oversea's? ITS A NO BRAINER! Is even cheaper if you live in India, Thailand, or Eastern Europe. And the best part? IT JUST WORKS! Even on older TVs with older SmartTV software. Google updates their part youtube app, but not as good as say Amazon does, but most of the time, you can just plug in a smart device like the google TV dongle. And YES your ENTIRE Family can use it even though your kids live with their mom as long as they are in the google family options. Sure, there are some drawbacks for some creators, but overall? HARDLY AN ISSUE! And the video quality with the enhanced bitrate that will be pushed out when 4k UHD content comes out is already in the works in some markets. IT IS THE BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT! And no, I'm not just saying that. It really is. So, if you want to never see a commercial about things you don't ever need, and love music videos as well? YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG! The best part? If you like to watch those sleep videos? Not only does the content creator get paid for you watching, but you never have any interruptions with any media you watch when you go to sleep. IT IS A GAME CHANGER! And I really can't emphasise this enough for the fact it JUST WORKS! There is no weird anything, no broken U.I. Everything is just login with your google account and it works seamlessly. HIGHLY recomended. YouTube Premium was always something I could not afford and didn't see a need to...Until I had it for three months. Now it is a monthly must have and essential to watching videos online. I can't stand having ad's every 5 minutes and I absolutely love that I can minimize the screen on ALL videos as well as shut the screen off while it plays. These are all things I did not have any idea I was missing. I could of course do with a lesser monthly fee.

Best TV I've ever owned. This is my new bedroom TV. I got it primarily to play my PS5 and so my wife could watch her reality TV before bed. The vivid color and smooth motion rate were beyond my expectations. This television makes me rewatch movies I've already seen just to experience them in QD MiniLED. The dolbyvision changes the entire experience with shows that support the format. Don't get me started on my video games. This thing out performs my Samsung Odyssey G5 that I use for my gaming desktop. I am completely immersed in the environments on The Witcher 3. I fought my significant other to get her to approve me purchasing this television and now she is thanking me for showing her the light. If you are on the fence about this, do not hesitate. This made my Samsung LED tuck tail and it now sits tucked against the wall. Never again will I doubt the awe and power of a TCL product. If you want to veg out and enjoy sitting on the bed doing absolutely nothing after work, this is the way.

The tv is an absolute worth for money. I did extensive research before buying this model and screen size. This has the exact screen as the QM6K expect for the refresh rate being at 60hz. Gaming can be done at 2k 144hz. Motion for sports seems decent. However adding motion clarity will introduce artifacts even on a 120hz display. So this model is a great value if you really want to watch a good movie or tv shows. The brightness is good enough to watch content without glare. The star of the show is the new hva panel. TCL is the first to market with this panel and I am impressed with it. Added photos to show the glare performance. The UI is usable and not too laggy. There is a slight slowness which is expected with the 2GB memory.

3 months of no ads on YouTube, so nice to just jump around videos with no interruptions, and no ads in the middle of videos either! I don't like that we have to pay or do trials so we don't get bombarded by ads, but that's the way of the world now, unfortunately....
