Picked this up for son to use with unlocked GSM phone. The SIM uses ATT network and coverage has been great. Calls and texts are through FP app which so far has worked well. Nothing I have seen comes close to unlimited voice/text for under $5 a month. May switch other family members if continues to work well.

With the coverage of the AT&T network, unlimited calls, and unlimited texts this is a most affordable plan. Installed the SIM card in my new phone and was up and running in just a few minutes.

This arrived on time and was very easy to install into my unlocked smartphone. Now I have cellular service for a whole year with unlimited talk, text and 1 GB of data all for $39. I was able to pick a number from a list of available phone numbers. You can add visual voicemail at an additional cost per month if needed.

I got the 3 in 1, LTE SIM card combo. everything works great. Unlimited call/text and 1GB/monthly data. The only thing I didn't like was picking my Number, my city area code (San Antonio/210) was not available so I had to pick the next closest (Austin/512).

$50? For a years worth of service? On AT&T's network? This is real! You get unlimited talk and text + 1Gb of service every month. What's the catch? You will have to pay extra for premium services like voice mail, roll over data, and other features. The voice and text services are through their app, where you can also access your account features. Also, you only have 1Gb per month. If you go over, you can either have your data topped off automatically, or you can pay for safety mode to disable your data when finished. I have been using FreedomPop for years, and this is the best product I have seen from them.

I picked this up on black Friday so it was even cheaper than usual. The sim grants unlimited text/talk for the year, and 1GB data per month. It can be easy to blow through that data if you are not careful, but a little bit of curating of data usage on ios or android along with wifi usage and this is almost a nearly free cell plan. I have my father on this & recommend to everyone else. Yes, the price is inexpensive, but the coverage and service is good.

When I first found this deal I had to read it twice. Unlimited talk and text plus 1GB per month for $49.99 ANNUALLY - not monthly! Popped the SIM into an unlocked T-Mobile GSM phone and works great. Excellent coverage with AT&T network. I switched my daughter over to it and saving many hundreds per year now.

FreedomPop seems too good to be true, and frankly, it really is. You get unlimited talk, text and a GB of data every month for under $5 if you purchase the year in advanced. Now, you do need to keep a card on file with them incase you go over that GB, but if you stay under it, you'll never see a bill in the next 12 months. It's spectacular service on the AT&T network and data speeds are stellar. I'd give it three thumbs up if I could, but since I can't, it's just five stars and a ton of cash in my pocket.

Activation was simple (less than 5 minutes online). I use the SIM in my old AT&T iPhone 6 (FreedomPop service works on the AT&T 4G LTE network). Got unlimited calls and texts for $50 a YEAR (not a month)! Also comes with 1 GB of data each month too but that is plenty for me because most of my data is over WiFi anyways which is always free. Awesome deal.

I use my Google Hangouts number on my phone, so I am not reliant on the FreedomPop systems--they just provide cheap access to the AT&T mobile data network for me. Also, if you are a light user of data (mostly texting, voice, and email, and if you are usually connected to wifi for heavy download usage), this is an amazing deal. Otherwise, FreedomPop will get you with charges for everything from voice mail to going near (not over) your monthly data allotment. The customer service is terrible, so don't expect to call customer service and get help--there are Internet forums that have limited usefulness, but again, you'll need to be at least somewhat tech savvy to rely on Internet forums as a main support system. So: Use Google Hangouts for free texting, voice mail and calling over the access provided by this great deal (and don't use too much data! @@@@@@@ , and you'll be very happy.

FreedomPop supports Wi-Fi Calling, a feature that allows you to make calls and send texts over Wi-Fi. It's handy if you're using the carrier's free service with its caps on texts and talk time, as you'll be able to use Wi-Fi for a lot of your calling and texting needs. Other special features include mobile hotspot support. FreedomPop also features rollover data, in which up to 500MB per month of unused data can carry over to the next month. Rollover costs $3.99 per month, but another option, Rollover Plus, costs $6.99 and lets you carry over up to 1GB of data. Your unused data doesn't expire, though you're capped at storing 20GB for the standard Rollover plan and 40GB for Rollover Plus. You can also earn data by referring friends to FreedomPop.

While I haven't activated this sim yet, I have a couple of other Freedompop lines. The LTE sims use AT&T, and the coverage in my area is very good, though AT&T doesn't have LTE in my area like Verizon and T-Mobile do. The calls and texts have to go thru the Freedompop app vs. the normal apps on your phone. I find on the sim I have in an iPhone its easy to use and is ok, but for Android, the interface is clunky and hard to use. Freedompop used to let you earn another 500mb of free data but recently lowered that to 50mb, not even noticible. While you get "unlimited" calls and texts, including voicemail and MMS/picture messages (the free Freedompop plans dont include these), Freedompop will nickle and dime you for every other thing, including support. If you don't pay them for premium support, I hope you don't have a problem as your choice is their community forums only.

I've been using FreedomPop's basic free plan for over a year. Lately my data usage increased. Then I found this sim card. This is the best price so far I've seen for unlimited talk/text and 1GB data/month. One needs FreedomPop's app to make/receive calls and send/receive texts via wifi or data. AT&T's coverage is pretty good. So far I do not have major issue with making/receiving calls. Actually I like the app. Since there's no cellular signal in my office building, people have to go out to make a phone call using their cell phones. But I can make/receive calls through FreedomPop's app via wifi. I'm a very satisfied user. Also bought the sim cards for my family members.

I've been a Freedompop subscriber for over two years now. They originally sold service on Sprint's network and we definitely saw issues related to the footprint of the service. The new LTE sims use AT&T's network that provides service over a much larger area. It really is 1Gbps of data and unlimited text and talk. The catch is that the voice and text are technically Voice over IP. If you're at home, your voice and texts will go over your wifi (and the quality is dependent on your home network's speed). I've got 30Mbps cable modem and get Fantastic quality at home. You should be fine with even a DSL connection through. When you're not at home or on wifi, those calls go over AT&T's network and have been great quality so far. I've found that on an iPhone, I get a better experience on my Freedompop phone using Hangouts and Google voice instead of the built in app. Hangouts integrates well with iOS and calls look/feel like normal phone calls. The problem with Hangouts is that your calls will count against your data (where they don't if you're using the Freedompop app). Freedompop has this integration with Android but is still working on it with iPhone. Be careful and read everything carefully when you work with Freedompop. They are still considering their service "Beta" and their tech support is not the greatest, but the price is incredible. I use this service for 3 of my 4 kids' phones.
