As such, I have started buying third-party air filters as they are cheaper and have the same, perceived, efficacy.

My wife tends to put items in the fridge that have unique scents but I cannot tell they are there when opening the doors. Our last fridge was not so kind.

I have not detected any odors in my refrigerator so guessing this takes care of that. I will say it’s pretty expensive to have to replace every 6 months.

Best Buy had a great deal on both the air filter and water filter so I was able to purchase both at a much lower price. These filters really do improve the air quality in your fridge.

Hard to find filter - expensive, but worth it!

But then I thought, 'Why haven't I looked for one there'? Found it - bought it. Expensive, but they last a long time. SO WORTH IT!

Took me less than a minute to twist off the old and twist in the new one. Make sure to note the direction of the carbon filter to ensure proper placement.
