Love the slicer and shredder attachment. Kitchen Aid makes the best products and attachments

Use this constantly to make fresh cole slaw. I have had to cut the cabbage to fit the feed chute but ne it gets shredding, it make quick work of it. I like the quick change of the blades; just snap in and out with ease. I would prefer having a metal housing though. I feel like if I put too much pressure while feeding the shredder, I'll break it off the mixer.

Works good. Don’t push the cheese to hard through the holder or it can clump up alittle and get stuck if you do it to fast. Slow and steady. I am rough with products. This stood up to me so far. I like that I can store it back in box when not using it. I do a big block of cheese from sams club all at once. Otherwise for small amounts it’s easy to just use a regular grater. Things to think about. But I am sure I will find other uses for it at well.

Nice attachment for slicing and shredding cheese, carrots, etc.

Does what's suppose to. Used it to shred zucchini for zucchini bread. Didn't take to long to shred with a little force in the feeder. The main part isn't dishwasher safe and is a bit of a pain to clean.

His has been so useful in the short time I’ve owned it. Great over holidays for shredding cheeses, prepping salads and very easy clean up!

This is the perfect attachment if you make Home made Mac & Cheese. I’m able to shred through a whole bar of cheese in seconds. Great tool to have in the kitchen.

Trying to save a bit on pre shredded cheeses and vegetables, i bought this to add to my Kitchen-Aid mixer thats just sitting on the counter. Works flawlessly, only complaint is I was hoping to use it to slice cucumbers but the slicing drum is too thin for me. Soft cheeses like mozzarella should be frozen before shredding.

I love the shredder, slicer attachments to my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. Great quality and works really well.

Used it for carrots and a block of cheddar cheese and it works like a charm. I advise starting on 3 or 4 speed and going up as needed. Also… make sure the shreeding cylinder is properly locked in place before starting it.

My wife loves it so I can’t complaining. She had been wanting one for a while and is now able to grate.

This attachment works great and saves us a lot of time. It is easy to attach and clean. I use this attachment the most out of the mixer attachments.

One of my favorite kitchen items! I use this for grated cheese, grated potatoes for hasbrowns, sliced potatoes, and much more. Completely worth it.

Super easy to attach to mixer. Allows for a wide variety of shredding options. Makes shredding potatoes easy for hashbrowns in the morning.

I bought the mixer for my wife a few years ago. This is one of the attachments bought since then. She really likes it and says it is convenient and saves a lot of time. Very well built and no problems yet.

I have used the slicer/grater several times since purchasing it. It grates parmesan cheese and related hard cheeses just as I want. The slicing blade works well on carrots, my only use thus far. I will probably continue to use a mandolin for softer vegetables. I'm pleased with ease of cleaning. The blade and grate mechanisms slide out easily and the holder for the slicer/graters is easy to clean also. I have put them into the dishwasher with success. I wish the slicer provided for different thicknesses, as the earlier model did, but all in all, well worth the price.
