Great product. Easy to attach to mixer. Easy clean up after use.

The KitchenAid Prep/Slicer is an attachment you need for the KitchenAid Mixer. Grating cheese and vegetables is quick and easy. A pound of cheese grates in minutes. The attachment is very easy to use especially changing out the different blades.

The product works wel. I take the cheese and put it in the freezer for a little bit to help with the shredding. It goes thru the cheese quickly. YOu may need to make some things smaller to get it in the chute, but it works well. I have not used the slicer yet

Nice addition to my kitchen aid mixer! Slices everything beautifully and works really well! Wonderful way to save time from chopping with a knife hoping I do not cut my fingers as I have many times!

Although I have only used this once to shred some cheese it did it fast and cleanup was a breeze. The item feels and seems of good quality. I think it is well worth the money especially if you use a lot of cheese or like to slice some veggies. Much easier than the old fashioned box graters.

Works great to get everything shredded or sliced quickly, however it doesn't work that well for soft cheeses and can be a little difficult to clean up after.

Love this! Easy to use and easy to clean. We buy block cheese and shred it ourselves and this saves times and finger tips! I mainly have used the one attached for shredding cheese, but have also used it to shreds zucchini and carrots.

This product has made things so much easier in the kitchen. Easy to interchange different attachments. Very easy to use, cheeses come out better than expected.

Kitchen Aid Mixer is fantastic. It’s heavy duty yet looks great on the counter. I should be the last one I need to buy. It works great, speeds are good, attachments are infinite.

This attachment made 2 hours of cheese grading down to a 45 second ordeal . Like magic .

Granddaughter just received a Kitchenaid mixer and was wanting to use the extra features. She says the slicer/peeler is great and a time saver for meal prep. Favorite for slicing veggies for salads and shredding block cheese.

Shreds and slices cheeses and vegetables with ease. I wish there was a guard that helped control the trajectory of food as it leaves the machine- can get a little messy

This performs great and does everything advertised with ease. The shape makes cleanup of all parts pretty easy. However it is so sharp and there's no real good way to store them without them taking up an entire small drawer in our kitchen so that you aren't reaching in there with sharp blades for other things. Or they would have to be in their original packaging which is too bulky and kind of tacky to keep in the kitchen like that in my opinion. these are great but I'm honestly thinking about giving them away or selling because my kitchen just doesn't have that amount of storage.

This is a good attachment for shredding vegetables such as carrots. I used it to shred hard cheese. For the cheese I was hoping there would be an attachment that would shred it even finer. It is easy to attach to the mixer.

It fits my 5qt professional model without issue. Shreds perfectly with the exception of how much is left over, do to the need for a space between the blades and casing there is a small amount that doesn't get shredded. But it is a worthy sacrifice for the ease of the product.

Looks and feels to be well made and very easy to setup and use. Cleanup was simple, internal blade into the dishwasher and a manual washing of the housing.

We have used the cheese grater multiple times since our purchase. The shredder mows through a block of cheese in no time and removes the repetitive manual efforts of hand grater. Clean up of the attachment is fairly easy. We have found to have the bowl closer to the cheese discharge to reduce clean up of the surrounding area. Made the switch to grating cheese blocks versus buying shredded cheeses to reduce preservatives. FYI, we use this attachment on a Kenmore version of the mixer and not Kitchen Aid. Still works great.
