I'll admit that I was a little sketchy about trying this game out. Especially worrying about how you can turn this franchise of films into a respectable video game. Not a disappointment at all! In fact, there were moments that I got so scared that I jumped out of fear when Jason would approach. The scare element is definitely here and actually make you think about what a person would do in these type of situations. Even the kills are very elaborate that make this game worth checking it out. Of course more improvement need to be made. Like with easier gameplay and such. But, once you get the controls down then your odds of survival are a lot better. Or if you end up playing Jason. Then, the camp counselors don't have a chance on you. Amazing game!

Great game. Only has online play, but it is very exciting.

I've been playing video games nearly my entire life, but I've been a horror movie lover for the last 10 years or so. I was so excited upon seeing first gameplay clips of this game. Once I finally played the game - it didn't live up to the trailers. This is a fun game to play online, don't get me wrong. I have fun with it, but it's extremely repetitive and isn't well polished. You will encounter lots of glitches and clipping throughout the game (I'm sure this has to do with the game being online-only).

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my 18 yr old grandson who loves the Friday the 13th movies. This game allows you to be Jason or you can be one of the counselors and try to escape. I even enjoy playing the game. While it is violent, if you like the movies, you will enjoy this game.

This game is a little different. Yes, it is not the best looking game but it is a ridiculously addicting game. I have laughed so much when playing with friends. This game is fun at a very high level. Once you get past the visuals, you will not even care. 5 stars for an absolute blast.

Friday the 13th: The Game is the closest you are ever going to get to being in a Friday The 13th movie. It's so realistic that I had goosebumps every time I saw Jason. However if you are playing alone it can get a little boring at times, and that makes me wish that there was a decent single player mode But with its authenticity this is the best Friday The 13th game that we may ever have and it will make every fan very happy.

This game is buggy and lots of fun if you have friends to play it with. You'll get tons of fun & laughter playing as a counselor or as the horror icon Jason. Even if you get elimiated early as a counselor it's still fun spectating and watching if others will survive the match.

This is great game. What fans was waiting for.i wish it came out years ago. Only thing I don’t like is you play as killer at random.

I haven't even been able to play this game yet because the servers were down -_-
