I do not remember what I read in terms of reviews before I purchased the item but I do remember it was not the item I had initially thought I would purchase. It just so happened being the only 1 of 2 options on the floor at my local store. Fortunately the price seemed fair and seemed to be powerful enough for most of our household use. It was easy to install and was happy it was already corded. It is quieter than the previous (smaller 1/3hp) disposal which is funny because the noise used to clue me in on the performance. It seems solidly built, so hopefully if I get asked again about my opinion on this item it is many years down the road because it holds up that long.

Wonderful grinder of food particles, it is very quiet and disposes quite quickly..The price for this powerful horsepower is only 100 bucks....

I was surprised to find that Best Buy had this food disposer. This Frigidaire is quiet, runs great and was not a challenge to install.

The install of this disposal was easy since the parts are compatible with most disposal units. This unit has a three pronged plug, so you will need an under the sink grounded outlet, preferably a ground fault circuit. The diameter of this disposal was smaller than my previous unit, so there is more space under the sink and it runs smoothly and does not make much noise when operated.

Not a product you would expect to see offered by Best Buy but we searched and sure enough available and the sales associate/ consultant who help with our Samsung kitchen package purchase still there and and with his recommendation and total tech support for installation as so far proven to be a great decision. Disposal is efficient and quiet installation was seamless and price competitive. Very pleased.

Was easy to put in and works great, and doesn't take up much space

I originally picked an expensive model but it was too big for the space. I ended up getting this 1/2 HP model. I was sad as I thought that this will be noisy powerless piece of hardware but this is an excellent product. It is way quiter than the older ones I have seen. I am very happy with the purchase.

Great disposal. Very easy to change out old one and install this new one. Works better and quieter than old one.

Installation was ok, husband was frustrated a couple of times, but he got it, eventually. It is quieter than our last one, but the drain opening is narrower than our last one, so water backs up frequently when using it.

Quality, quiet. Extremely easy to install. Great buy. It's one of my best buys.
