8 months in multiple parts have begun to fail on this junky microwave. Luckily it's still under warranty, but it's starting to get irritating waiting on new parts to arrive, and the service people that Frigidaire have sent out to fix it. Just buy something nicer, this is a garbage microwave.

Took delivery of the microwave last year. The front panel, on a new unit, was dented. It took a couple of months to have the panel replaced;. Now, less than sixteen months after purchasing the microwave, the handle broke. It's out of warranty, although the panel replacement and the handle problem are probably signs of poor material choice and workmanship. You pay for a product and you hope it lasts at least two years. Apparently not with Frigidaire. Extremely disappointed. Avoid this product.

The microwave works great but disappointed with the vent. It really doesn’t work all that great. Next time I would prob get a better vent.

Worked great for one year, of course stopped heating after the one year warranty expired. I had my previous microwave for 14yrs, worked great, still worked when upgraded appliances to stainless steel, so I donated it to charity. And I shouldn't have to purchase an extended warranty (3 or 5yrs), appliances should last a lot longer than that. Currently on the phone for repair service...another unpleasant experience. :(

Works fine at 2 years, but it’s a little noisy. Somewhat difficult to install.

Great basic microwave - no fancy stuff. Returned because old microwave started working.

Lasted us exactly 2 yrs and 3 months. There was shorting within the microwave which kept triggering our fuse. Ultimately, it has to be removed. Will be reccommend unless you have a 3 yr warranty on it.

don't like light. it can't be changed other than that it's okay.

Could not test the product as it did not come with the mounting hardware.

With limited use the microwave stopped working after two years. It shorts out and trips the circuit breaker. Total junk.

Plate got caught and caught the turner on fire.....trying to order parts now. Plate broke in half. and turner was melted.

I bought this last year and now it does not work. When I want to use it, a lot of sparks come out and it makes it smell like something is burning. It was a bad purchase. I do not recommend buying this product.

Blew an internal fuse and broke inside of three years. Had to replace the unit. Not happy

This is my second oven. It keeps shorting out. I wont be buying again.

Was fine for a while but then started to trip the breaker if the door was opened while running. Then it started to blow the internal fuse. Now it is trying the breaker at the start of cooking.

What a Microwave! I'm in love with this Frigidaire Over-The Range Microwave! It's the best microwave I've ever owned. It cooks potatoes quicker, boils water faster and defrosts vegetables in a blink! Makes a scrambled egg in less than a minute. So pleased with how well it performs. Such a great size that can hold my largest casserole dishes. Also appreciate that it has a guide on times to cook certain foods when you open the door. When something is finished cooking it beeps, alerting you until you take it out. I like that because when I'm multi tasking, it doesn't let me forget. Nice bright LED lighting for my cook top. Great that it doubles as a hood with ventilation fan. Works great on both fan speeds when I'm cooking something greasy! Not too loud. Love the look and style over my stove. I highly recommend this microwave. It's a great asset for anyone's kitchen!

As someone who has seen a microwave lasting longer than 2 decades, I was very surprised when this model crapped out after just a couple years. Not only does it constantly blow fuses (despite all failsafe switches operating normally; presumably, the circuit failures are due to subtle latch deformations), but the plastic housing behan to crack and fall apart. This microwave is ridiculously poor in quality.

This is the second one I replace.. the dont last. The unit blows fuses constantly usually just out of warranty.

The worst microwave I've ever owned! First the door switch failed. Next to quit was the exhaust fan, then the light over the stove. The final straw was when it started popping and sparking and about caught on FIRE!!!! I bought a whole matching kitchen set of Frigidaire products and EVERY one of them has something wrong with them!!! RUN as far away as you can from Frididaire! I have never been so disapointed about a purchase in my life. Now I have to replace every appliance in my kitchen, I do not trust them after this incident!

I see all of the reviews up here raving about how great this unit is. Sure the first year is all fine until the Unit dies, which In my case 14 months into its life, First it started blowing the circuit breaker periodically, until finally it wont turn on at all, completely Dead. The catch here is that this is a known issue with this product, there are thousands of reviews out there on different sites, such as Menards.com, Lowes, etc. and the list goes on. What's worse is Electrolux/Frigidaire is doing nothing about it, in fact stating: "Your one year warranty runs out nothing we can do," BAM !! good bye...In my case 14 months of using this thing to basically warm up food and an occasional bag of popcorn here and there does not constitute heavy use. I jsut know that I will never buy another Frigidaire product again after they basically blew me off. Be careful before buying this item and do your research. Item doesn't deserve a single star.
