We needed extra freezer space for items purchased on sale and Sams. Our freezer with refrigerator was not large enough. The reason for the four star rating is because the freezer does run quite a lot and probably isn't as cost effective as others its size. We like Best Buy and the Frigidaire is a name brand and the cost to operate wasn't that important.

We did have to send the first one back because it stopped working. It was hassle free, except for the waiting to have them both delivered. basically, I did not get a working unit until a good 2 weeks after I purchased it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Second unit seems to be working fine.

Definitely provides alot of space but very bulky .

Great little freezer for just what I needed. For the price you can’t beat it. The wife and I was looking for more freezer space and this upright was perfect for what we needed.

The freezer is a nice size, both internal -large- and external - not too big - and food stays frozen, BUT when the motor is on, it seems too loud. This is bothersome, NOT because it is too loud, but because I do not know if it means something is or will be wrong. I have put off calling Best Buy, as I can not imagine what the rep will say -- but I will get to it in the near future. Might have been nice if Best Buy alled a week or so AFTER item arrived, to see if there were any issues.

Best Buy delivery was good. It is working good so far! Would not recommend for indoor use since it can be too noisy at times. Definitely good for garage use, very spacious too.

This is a basic freezer for an awesome price. Not a lot of bells and whistles but it gets the job done. It's a little louder then I would prefer but we keep in a room away from the family.

It is a little loud but we have it in a utility room. We purchased half a beef and a pork package and it all fit perfectly with plenty of space left.

I live in Fort Worth Texas where it gets HOT! I put this in my garage as a secondary freezer. It has no problems working in a hot garage. So much that we had a 9 hour power outage on one of the hottest days of the year. Garage temp must have been 120-130. Absolutely nothing melted during the long outage. I normally store a couple of bags of ice in this freezer, and not one drop of water melted from it. I'm completely impressed of the quality and the price of this device.

After researching for a small and reliable freezer for our garage, I came across the Frigidaire 13.8. This freezer is quiet even though it's in our detached garage. It's small but roomy for a 14 cu freezer. Best Buy delivery was great and courteous. It's almost 30 days since I have this freezer and happy with purchase so far.

It freezes at 0 or slightly below which is good. But it has a cellophane wrapper on the front that crimped up and I pulled on it not knowing what it was, and I think it is supposed to be there, It wasn't all the way down and had a crimp in it. So what do I do with it???

I have this in my basement. It gets a little loud, but nothing major. Great for extra space, since my fridge/freezer is small.

Great freezer! Lots of room. Gets very cold like a deep freeze. I wish it had one more shelf. But other than that highly recommend

This is just what we were looking for. It has plenty of room on the doors as well. The only drawback is it is a little loud when it's running.

I appreciate an upright small freezer for the user not requiring a large family sized unit. This does the job and having a light come on when opened is another plus.

This is a great little freezer! Lots of space for the size and am so happy I got the upright instead of the chest freezer, as everything is readily visible. I also like the green light at the bottom to let you know it's running. It is a little bit noisy when it comes on, but it's in the garage, so not a problem at all. The only thing that I don't like about it is the seal is so strong that you have to pull really hard to open it, and once you open it, it's so tight you have to wait a little while to reopen again. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

I've purchased several smaller upright freezers for my vending trucks before but this one was cheaper and roomier than the others. So far I'm quite happy with it.
