The only problem, which I noted on a review from a past buyer before I purchased the freezer, is that it is noisy when the motor for the freezer goes on - much more so than my previous freezer.

This appliance operates at higher pressures during the start of the ON cycle, so it is normal to hear a high-pitched hum when the compressor first turns on. The sound will level off or disappear as appliance continues to run. ~ Brandi

My parents had bought it for us, and it was very useful - 7 people in a family eat a lot! Now, however, we are down to just 3 at home. Our freezer died in the last move, but it was 18 years old, and time to replace it. This new upright freezer is just what I needed. It's not as big, but still holds what I need it to hold. I'm very pleased with it.
