This one is almost a perfect fit and took only a few minutes to get set up in the window. Not the quietest unit, but not the noisiest, either. Best Buy shipped it quickly, too, plus I had a gift card! Perfecto!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the second Fridigaire air conditioner (different model) I have where in order to clean the filter you have to slide it in and out on the right-hand side. I've never liked this filter design, its awkward with the window frame getting in the way, but at least in the past I have been able to use it. This time when I clean the filter and try to put it back in, the filter slides in about two thirds of the way and refuses to go in any further no matter how many times I carefully slide it in making sure its lined up properly or try to push it in whether gently or hard. It gets stuck at the 2/3rd mark and if I push it any harder it the flimsy filter will break. Of course, without a filter in it it, I can't use the unit. I phoned Frigidaire and was told that the air filter is not a covered part under the warranty and that if they send out a service person I would be charged for the visit (strike one). They gave me a number for a service repair company. When I called, the service repair company, they told me they don't service air conditioners (strike 2). My advice is don't buy Frigidaire models with this type of slide-in filter. I've also had 2 models that grew mold in them: FRA125CT1 and FRA064VU1.
