We make every effort to manufacture quality products, and your concerns have not gone unnoticed. The unit will run in energy saver (eco) mode when powered on each time, if last shutdown is in cool or energy saver(eco) mode. In this mode, the fan will continue to run for 3 minutes after the compressor shuts

If you are experiencing cooling issues, please check the following conditions: clean air filter, if dirty, set air conditioner to a lower temperature, re position air louvers for a more efficient air flow, make sure the appliance is not blocked by drapes, blinds, furniture etc, and close all doors, windows and other coo air escapes. We thought we could ride it out with just fans until the new part came in. Wrong. My wife decided that if we could get the bedroom cool, it would be our oasis away from the rest of the hot house. She is so smart. A trip to Best Buy and I decided to give this Frigidaire window unit a try. AC window unit went in and took about 15 minutes. Our bedroom is 15 X 10, the exact dimensions stated on the AC box. Problem SOLVED. We had a picnic lunch on the bed and later slept in cool comfort.

It works to cool my 8X10 room slightly if constantly on cool, not power saver or fan. It let wasps and mosquitoes in , both of which bite me in my sleep. It’s been 2 weeks and the filter light is already on.
