This product failed in 23 months. Lost lots of food as a result of this failure. Don't buy this product, you'll be sorry!! I don't blame Best Buy, but I blame Electrolux/Refrigeration. I am still waiting for a response from this company. Whatever you do make sure you buy a warranty. Parts don't last...

bought this only because it was open box special on the floor and i could take it with me. mine had stopped working. very basic freezer. owners manual so bad im still not sure i got everything or the freezer is set up correctly. It did work and is keeping things frozen.

This freezer replaces a 14 cu ft freezer that gave up the ghost, we wanted one a little larger. Can't comment on long term performance yet, but have a few initial comments: ● Best Buy delivery was great. Ordered Friday morning, delivered Monday at noon. Also BB had the best price. ● As others have commented, the freezer is a bit loud when it runs. But if it performs decently, we can live with the noise. ● And yes, the door is difficult to open, but this is a good thing IMO, it's keeping a good seal. I've found the easiest way to open is pull slowly from center of door, to slowly break the seal. A quick 'yank' on the handle is not effective in breaking the seal. All in all, initially pleased with this purchase and would recommend to others. - djb

Perfect for a family of 3 that shops monthly! It has plenty of room for everything we use, plus allows us to prepare meals in advance to freeze.

My wife and I bought this freezer because the size and price seemed perfect but we didn't buy the extended warranty which was a mistake. The freezer worked fine until a few months beyond the manufacturers warranty. We had this thing fully stocked with food and lost all of it which I estimate to be between $200-300 because it stopped freezing and started simply cooling to high 30's low 40's like a refrigerator. On the coldest setting the freezer will freeze and then intermittently warm up to refrigerator temps. We are too afraid to store food in it until we pay a repairman to fix it. I remember the times you paid $500 for something to last more than a year. Very disappointed.

The freezer works fine. A set screw was missing to attach the door handle. (Assembly is the purchasers responsibility with the basic free delivery.) I called Best Buy and nobody there knew how to get this very small part in the mail to me. I called twice and was transferred to a different number for resolution each time. The first time after talking with two people and being transferred to a third person, after explaining my problem this third person disconnected the call. So I called back and was also transferred two times. This time all the last person at Geek Squad could do was offer to send me a gift card for my trouble. I still don't have this part. I have shopped around for this part and was only able to find it for shipment at a total cost of $17.27 I suggest making sure you check that everything is in the delivery. Although I am not sure what would have happened if I told the delivery people that this part was missing.

We saw a smaller size in the store, but ordered the next size up to have delivered. What a huge freezer! Delivery guys were great. Freezer simply works. Cooled down quickly, holds a ton, never have to defrost again. Love it.

we are writing this review three years later. There is not one single thing I don't like about this freezer. IT IS AWESOME! Keeps everything frozen perfectly, has a lock (which we haven't used, but it's nice to have), sturdy shelves, etc. worth every penny
