I have always loved upright freezers. Easy to get to the food you are looking for. This freezer works great. When the freezer door shuts you will hear the vacuum sound (like a hissing). This is normal. Our other upright freezer does this also. We have ours in the basement next to our other freezer so if it is loud, and I have never noticed it even being in near proximity to it, I haven't noticed. That being said, all freezers make some kind of noise. All in all, very satisfied. Also, Best Buy delivery was excellent! Would definitely do again!

Huge freezer. Runs beautifully. The delivery men were very professional and efficient, and set it up in our garage.

The door opens to allow access to my stored food products. Once within I am able to locate the item I require and remove it. The door then closes and nothing is able to escape or defrost. What more could you want?

I am happy with this freezer. I only gave it 4 stars because it’s not perfect ... it does make a humming sound, but I learned that all freezers have that. I also don’t care for the cheap quality door holders, however, it was the only name brand I could find that would easily hold all my Ball canning jar sizes. Two door shelves hold 5 half gallon jars (10 total) & 3 other shelves hold 6 quart Ball jars each (18 total.)

We didn't have the space where this was going cleaned out when we had it delivered, but once we got it cleared out, this went into the space nicely. So far, seems to be doing a great job. And Best Buy, as usual, did a nice job making sure I had the best price. The only complaint that I have, is I sent an email to corporate regarding the delivery associates, and NEVER got a reply back. I was somewhat disappointed in the corporate structure for never responding back to me. Especially given my history in retail sales and customer service.

I am very pleased with my Frigidaire freezer. Have had it for almost a month now and don't know how I lived without it. Runs quietly, Seals well and has plenty of shelf and door storage space.

Lots of storage, like the organized on door shelving. Frost free is great compared to my older model.

My freezer stands in an unheated garage, and should survive ultra cold winters. It is configured for convenience in finding those lost items that often fall to the back of a freezer and spacious enough to freeze items on a cookie sheet until they freeze and can stand alone or loose items can be bagged for future use.

of course freezer is still working well, we have only had for a few months hopefully we get many years of trouble-free use

Runs quiet, looks good and gas a los of space on the inside. All racks are laid out well.

this si so much better than a chest freezer. you have much better access to the items in the freezer, and it is worth spending a little extra for the upright model

This is replacing a 20 year old freezer that still ran great but I wanted frost-free one, and a freezer that will hopefully use less energy. It's too early to tell if it is using less electricity- I've only had this 6 weeks. Pros - the light makes it easy to find items in a full freezer - it seals VERY tightly - one more shelf than my old freezer - frost-free - no more defrosting twice a year Cons - runs almost all the time - not sure how that will translate into energy use - the motor is loud - the freezer is in the basement and I can hear it running upstairs. I'm getting used to it but it can be annoying - seals so tightly that the freezer moves if I don't hold it in place when I try to open the door, which means I need both hands free. I read another review that said they squeeze the sealing strip so it breaks the seal and can be opened with one hand. I've been doing that, but not sure how the seal will be affected years later. Bottom line after 6 weeks - it does what it's supposed to do - freeze food. Hard to open, but that means it seals well. Giving it 4 stars because it's noisy, but I'm getting used to it. If I remember, I'll update my review after I've had this for a year or more when reviews would be a bit more useful.

This freezer has a lot of room and is a great price! So far so good!

Great size to fit comfortably to small bed room. Space savings.

So far I would recommend this freezer for use in a garage. It seems to be very insulated against the intense heat. I hope it performs as well in the winter.

Freezer performs exactly as expected after reading other reviews. It's a bit louder than a refrigerator but it's also a good bit cheaper. I would easily pay $50 more if the door hinge was reversible but I knew it wasn't before purchasing. Only improvement I would recommend would be a door release as it is difficult to break the vacuum seal it creates when it shuts.

Our Frigidaire freezer is efficient, quiet running, well constructed, and works like a dream. Wish we would have bought it years ago!
