Damaged item
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of my units was damaged upon delivery and they haven't picked it up yet. They had me waiting for nothing. I didn't appreciate that. It's still here waiting on them to pick it up

Piece of Junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I went to pick up the AC unit the corner of the box was crushed in. I asked them to unpack it so I could inspect it and the corner of the AC was crushed in. They said they use UPS for deliveries to their stores. I know all too well how UPS treats things. They ordered me another unit and when I got it I found some slight damage but went ahead and accepted it because over the years I have found you can't buy anything these days that is in perfect shape. It's a different world now and the work ethic is in the toilet. As I was installing the unit I noticed the overall build quality is very flimsy compared to the solid and sturdy 1960's era General Electric air conditioner my parents had in their house. I also found a lot of loose screws that needed tightened and 2 screws lying in the bottom of the unit and never did find what they went to. One of the spot welds on the cabinet was also broken loose. After getting the unit installed I powered it up and let it run for 30 minutes but it was only blowing warm air. I tried the troubleshooting tips in the book but nothing helped. I called the 800 number for warranty service but so far I can't get anyone to come take a look at it. This air conditioner is a total waste of $800 plus tax and we are sweating our rear ends off.
