Does the job overall

worst deliver service ever

The Best Buy delivery men were very difficult and refused to correct the problem or order the missing parts. I have been trying to reach someone from Best Buy for days and I keep being transferred to different departments.I cannot use the refrigerator.

Posted .Hey, Nan2! We appreciate your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your unit has malfunctioned. We would be glad to help you. If your freezer has stopped cooling, verify that the unit is fully plugged in and there is power going to the unit. The unit should be plugged into a GFCI outlet, if it is, reset it. If there was recently a power outage, reset the circuit breaker where the unit is located. Also, be sure to check what the temperature control is set to. Be sure the unit is set to the recommended temperature according to your use and care guide. Lastly, be aware of where the unit is located. These models perform well between a 50 and 110-degree ambient. Below 50 degree ambient, the freezer control should be adjusted to the coldest setting. The product will operate down to 39-degree ambient, but there is a risk of food items freezing in the fresh food compartment. To reduce the risk of food freezing, fresh food control should be adjusted to a warmer setting. If the unit is in a location where the temperature is lower than 53 degrees (Garage, Mudroom, Laundry Room, Outdoor Storage). Some units will require a garage kit. Garage kits must be purchased from a part distributor and installed by an authorized service provider. If further assistance is needed, call us at 1 (800) 374-4432. the product was damaged in two locations.

Side was damaged and drawers inside the unit were broken. I was given a discount when we drove 35 miles back for the side but did not know the drawers were broken too at that time. Not until opened and putting it in its place did we find this. It was very frustrating.

Awful

Still works 8 years later

Pros: Still works 8 years later without any needed maintenance or repairs. Cons: It makes a loud metallic clicking sound every hour or so. The stuff stored in the back of the fridge is prone to freezing even though its not in the freezer.

Noisy & poor fitting doors

Also, doors do not fit well, even after adjustment, but the gasket does seal. Best I can say is that it keeps my food cold. Wish I paid $75 more for the same model at another store that has glass shelves.

Regret this decision
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previous refrigerator was 39 years old, figured probably not very efficient, and electric company paying me $100 to replace it, so this Frigidaire 18cf FFTR1814TW, $522 regular price, seemed like a bargain. On sale for $400, and after $100 back from electric company, costs me $300. What a shoddy piece of cr*p. Had to reverse the doors, and most screws are self-tapping in very thin metal. Flimsy wire shelves. To level unit, according to instructions, adjust screws in front to raise/lower rollers, and screw rear feet in/out. WRONG. Rear are rollers with no feet, and no adjustment available. Front are rollers that do not adjust, but there are feet that can be screwed in/out. Therefore the only way to level unit is to put a shim under one of the rear rollers, as the unit is not level left to right. I truly doubt this refrigerator will last very long. Really wish I still had the old one. Appears to be a waste of money, even at $300, and I regret the purchase.

Stopped working after a week

Beverages are lukewarm, butter is soft, etc.... Had to call for a replacement. Hopefully the exchange is good because I thought the quality of this product would be better.

Lasted 3 years, and never worked well!
