Horrible Door torqued and had a gap. The door seals ripped in a few months. Froze up all the time because the door no longer closed without a gap from it being torqued and seal ripping. Really horrible product.

Have had it for about 3 weeks. Had to have BestBuy come back out to our house as when it was delivered, it was never leveled, and would rock back and forth. We are still having to pry the freezer open, as it won't open normally just by using the handle. I've never had these problems w/a brand new appliance before. Hoping BestBuy will see this review and assist us w/this.

Freezers require strong seals to prevent the cold air inside of them from escaping. Rubber seals on edges of the door help to form a suction with the base of the fridge to keep the door tightly closed. You can reducing the vacuum created by the door placing more food inside. The vacuum gets stronger if there is more open air inside of the freezer, filling it with additional items helps reduce the suction. We have had the freezer for a week...I will admit it stays cold but it makes the loudest noises!! We have called BB and they are suppose to be replacing it...if the next one is better I will edit my post. Otherwise I am not happy with how loud this unit is. I can hear it through the walls!!

Just great so far. Keeping it in the garage so have no sound problem.
Door is hard to open but my little 5 ft 2 inch spouse manages. I would opt for a tight seal rather than a leaking one any day. Well satisfied.

Within a month we had to have it reoaired twice,. Getting Samsung to even recognize a problem was a feat in itself. Battling between best buy and Samsung to gt it fixed and then the question//did i buy a warranty? Can i ask what that really means when its warrantied from the manufacturer? a product should not break in a month,,still having problems

The title says it all. The freezer went out in less than 18 months. My parents had a freezer that lasted 30 years. I guess they don't make them to last anymore. Nothing like throwing away a freezer full of meat to make you regret a purchase.

I bought this freezer with the warranty and two years later it failed costing me hundreds in food spoilage. My extended warranty turned out to be worthless since I can't get a service request responded to on time or at all.

I purchased my freezer 7/2017. It is now 11/2018 and it is dead. I am calling customer service today and hope that they will have the holiday spirit and help out when the freezer is 4 months out of warranty.

I have had this freezer since 2019 and had very few issues. I highly recommend this product if you are purchasing large amounts of frozen items, freezing deer, or purchasing whole steer or hogs. Plenty of room for at least 600-700lbs of meat.
