    This is the best upright freezer. It's very spacious, is quiet, and has auto defrost. I have had this freezer going on 3 years now with no problems at all.

    I just had my Freezer delivered, it's big and stores a lot of food. the light is excellent ... my problem so far is the noise we hear after closing the door ... it's like a weird creepy whistle and it stays for 10 seconds, then it dies down ... that's why I am not going to give it 5 stars or recommendation ...I am going to check if this is a continuous thing ... it could be a problem ... will see

    I needed a larger frost free freezer. I raise vegetables & berries, and harvest my own meat. With my old freezer I was always running out of room & dealing with defrosting. This is large enough to meet my needs & will be low maintenance. Just what the doctor ordered!

    This freezer broke 2 months brand new!! DO NOT BUY

    We bought this freezer from Lowe's in Manchester CT brand new and the thermostat and fan broke in 2 MONTHS. The repair was covered under the manufacturer's warranty but we lost 400 pounds of pork that we raised and Frigidaire offered a "good will gesture" of $100 served with a side of attitude. They indicated they do not offer food loss. Their company is horrible to work with and their products are worthless, especially this freezer. I mean really, 2 months until it breaks?! I'm creating an account here just to try to stop someone else from having to deal with this frustration with them. DO NOT BUY THIS FREEZER! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FRIGIDAIRE!

    This freezer works very well and has lots of room. I have it on the factory setting and everything is frozen solid inside, and it has two colder settings that can be used. Everytime you close the door, you can hear the freezer vacuum sealing the door.

    Bad Freezer

    I purchased the Frigidaire 202 Cu Ft FrostFree Upright Freezer White MODEL: FFFH20F2QW on January 12, 2016, The compressor went out in July 2016. I had a warranty to replace the compressor but lost $400 dollars worth of food. The freezer went down again May 2018 and another $400.00 dollars worth of food spoiled. Freezer broke down twice in less than two years. The freezer is not under warranty now and Frigidaire will not compensate for loss of food, nor a reduction for a new freezer. The cost to fix the compressor is more than I paid for the freezer. Frigidaire said I can pay for the repair, then buy a new warranty from them after the repair is completed.

      Mabelwinks, I am saddened to hear of your freezer experience. Although we place a great deal of emphasis on quality control, there are occasions when even the best products may malfunction. On the last page of your Owner’s Manual, exclusion number 5 discloses that food loss is not covered under the warranty. Our appliances come with an industry standard, one year limited warranty for functional repair actions from date of purchase. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.     Bought this Freezer on 3/9/2019 and it went out this weekend - 5/2023 (a little over 4 years). Lost about a thousand dollars of meat. I have two other freezers (different brands) one that I have had for over 15 years and another one that is roughly 10 years old and they are still working fine.

    Loud and slippery

    This freezers fan is very loud , my last frigidaire freezer wich is virtually identical to this one was quiet. Plus when you go to open the door the whole freezer slides towards you, i ordered some rubber pads wich should solve that problem.

      Wow!! It looks like your gasket is working a little too well. Because air travels to provide cold air, sometimes it can create a vacuum inside. Although it seems like it creating more of an issue, it's actually protecting your food even more. We strive to create better ways for consumers to enjoy our appliances. May we suggest moving the gasket to release some of the pressure, before opening the door. Hope this helps! Frigidaire

    NO REFLECTION ON BEST BUY - Bought it elsewhere. THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE FREEZER. Bought it 9 months ago. died last week. repairman said typical for this model. I trust Best Buy but if you buy this get the extended warranty. your gonna need it. OTHERWISE very roomy, nice freezer. mine just doesn't freeze anymore.

    Bought this freezer March of 2018 and in September of 2020 the compressor died (which is an $800 repair) so the freezer is junk. I have to pay $12 to the recycle yard just to have them take it. I also lost quite a bit of meat because it died while we were on vacation of course.

    I purchased this freezer in March 2021. It has stopped working 3x now and I have lost 3 freezers full of meat. The first issue was a "known problem" where the ice was damming around the fan. The second time, the same thing happened even with the "fix kit." This time, the high temp alarm was going off and green light was blinking. I lost the freezer and called for warranty repair again. They aren't even coming out to the house to check on the issue, they're simply "ordering the kit" to fix this other "known issue." Frigidaire's response was that I should purchase an extended warranty. DO NOT BE SWAYED BY THE POSITIVE REVIEWS AS I WAS

    This is an Electrolux issue not Best Buy. I bought the freezer 8/16, freezer died in 3/17. Lost almost $2,000 worth of wild game meat. Electrolux customer service sent someone out 10 days later. It's been a week since that technician came out and still haven't heard from Electrolux. Their customer service is poor at best, warranty or no warranty. Buy with extreme caution
