Very surprised how quiet this washer is. It looks great, very easy to clean. Was concerned it would not clean well because the price was so good, but was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality. Basically it is very pretty, is so quiet you can not hear it when it is on, washes the dishes clean, and was under $300 (on sale). Would recommend to a friend.

I am a single mom with two messy boys and a dog in the house. I don't have much time for ANYTHING, much less washing dishes. My last dishwasher was a Maytag, and I used to have to run everything through it at least twice to get the caked stuff off. Not with this baby! It is a timesaver and a dream! The cycles are much shorter than my last dishwasher, and everything comes out cleaner. I didn't find this machine to be noisy, but then, it's much quieter compared to my old Maytag. It just sounds like a dishwasher to me. I am a happy mama!

Other than a "no show" on the first delivery/installation appointment, and no one in Best Buy or the warehouse or the deliverer and installer knowing what the other one was doing or responsible for, the product so far (as of today: December 10, 2014) has been working fine. Just a bit noisier than what I would have liked. Now, I just want to see if I have gotten the $65 in rewards credits that was offered for paying it off within 30 days from the date of purchase. Keeping my fingers crossed I don't have any trouble with that.

This machine is so quiet I have to check and see if it is on. Cleans dishes great. I would buy another one. Absolutely do recommend.

The dishwasher cleans and drys I dishes better than I expected. Very pleased.

Who can tell in 30 days, but BB asked for a review so here it is. It does everything I expected. Clean dishes. Easy Install. Nice appearance. What I did not expect was how quiet it has been. It's nice to have clean dishes again. But honestly, in our next house, (next year) we are planning an extra large sink and dish drying area and probably not buy a dishwasher. I can was all the dishes by hand, usually do an equal or better job in about 10 minutes. It takes 5x longer, plus power and more water for a washer, so I am not sure a dishwasher is really a good idea any more. But if you need a good one at a good price, this should be a safe choice.

Got the white one. Installed myself, total of 2 hours. Comes with the drain hose, had to purchase the 90 degree elbow at Home Depot. Replaces an old Gibson Quiet Clean I. This one is much better and gets tea stains off plastic cups where the old Gibson didn't. This one has 3 wash arms making it great for cleaning top rack items. Gone through about 15 washes so far. Only issue on installing is the electrical ground screw was a pain to unscrew, helps to have the door open all the way. Drying is adequate, of course it's not completely dry for top rack items but is good enough as I towel dry all my dishes regardless.

This dishwasher blends in nicely with my other stainless steel appliances (including my Samsung Brand Stainless steel refrigerator.) It washes my dishes clean and it seems to run quietly. I am happy with the purchase. The third party vendor that was utilized by Best Buy to do the install was not very professional and the installation took quite awhile. Since the dishwasher install my garbage disposal hasn't worked properly but the vendor claims this has nothing to do with the installation that they did, even though it worked great before they arrived to install the dishwasher. I would recommend that you test all of your other kitchen appliances/garbage disposal after they finish installing to be sure that everything else still works properly. FYI

Bought dishwasher to replace 1970's version in a house we just bought. Installation was smooth and it is a major upgrade from what was there. Fairly quiet, does a nice job cleaning dishes, and definitely a good price

Much quieter than my ancient dishwasher. Gets the dishes clean. Logical design of the racks maximizes space. Adequate at cleaning so far, cycles are long. Door feels cheap and is difficult to close and open. Doesn't necessarily look cheap though. It is already quiet, but there are areas in front where foam can be added to make it quieter. Installation was straightforward.

Cleans very well, quiet, must use the hi-temp wash setting with the heated-dry if you want your dishes to actually come out dry. Door is pretty flimsy but for the price, it matches the rest of our stainless appliances and serves it's purpose. Probably should have spent another $150 for the upgraded version but it wasn't in the budget at the time.

We needed a low priced but fully functional dishwasher to replace our old Frigidaire dishwasher (12+ years old!). So we stayed with the same manufacturer, and this one works nicely! We hardly ever need more than just getting the dishes and pots washed, so this one works nicely! The one-button-press start-up is very convenient. The door is nicely balanced: stays in any position. A third level of washing arms is a nice addition in this unit. The racks are very similar to the old one's, so I didn't have to figure out new ways to load it! But the silverware basket has two wide openings in the middle, allowing silverware to fall over; I would have preferred all sections to be about the same size (I saved our old basket, just in case I get frustrated with this one!). It seems a bit noisy when running, but not objectionably; at least you know when the washing is done in case you want to open it to let it air dry. The biggest problem I see is in opening it: if you don't latch it shut, there's not much for your fingers to get a hold of to pull the door open, except right in the middle where the door latch mechanism is... and there's not a lot to grab onto there. (You could grab an edge at the top of our old dishwasher almost from side to side, to pull to door open.) So I'm retraining myself. I like the emphasis in the manual about using much less detergent when you've got soft water (we have a softener on well water); I'd noticed clouding (etching) of some glass bowls and didn't know what caused it, with the old DW (I was over zealous on the detergent before! "More = better"... NOT!) I like that it has the small pre-wash detergent box next to the regular one. And I may be sucked into using Rinse additive: I've used the sample, and things do seem to dry better, especially any plastic items. I had minor repairs to the old Frigidaire DW: inlet valve replaced, part of the door handle broke, door springs broke, and racks rusted (acidic water, too); but, hey, we got 12+ years out of it! We'll be very happy if we get 12 years out of this one! Seems to be a great basic dishwasher!

This replaced my old machine. It was a good fit. Satisfied with the old machine I went with another Figidaire. Features are satisfactory. Appearance is good. So far it has performed well. Very satisfied. Dealing with Best Buy was a pleasure.

Definitely not the quietest dishwasher out there... We bought this to replace an old white whirlpool that was nearly it's end of life. I had no idea how high end our old unit was, all the functions, the insulation for noise, etc, but comparing the prices, we would have spent 2x if not 3x times as much for a comparable unit. It cleans well, has good space for dishes, does what it is designed to do. If you are looking for an inexpensive solution for a dishwasher and don't care for the bells and whistles and noise, this is a solid unit.

First dishwasher i ever purchased. It is quiet, easy to install and simple to use. I say it is a good quality appliance.

We've had this dishwasher for a couple of months now and it works very well. It replaced an older model Frigidaire that we had, and we're very pleased with how well it cleans along with the ease of use. The rinse jets on the roof of the dishwasher for the top shelf is a nice added feature that we didn't previously have, and the larger spaces in the silverware caddie is a bonus as well.

When I opened the box, I thought, this thing will probably only hold up for a few uses before I need to purchase another. I felt the quality of the materials used to construct this model was mediocre at best. Well, I've been proven wrong. It does a great job at washing dishes and there is more than enough room inside to keep a family of 6 from having to run the unit daily.
