Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the 24" Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher's cleaning performance, quiet operation, and affordability. Many appreciate its ease of use and installation, along with its attractive appearance. However, some customers noted that the door could be improved and that the cycle times are longer than expected. Overall, the positive feedback on cleaning, quietness, and price outweighs the concerns about the door and cycle length.

Not good. I want a new dishwasher. The dishes do not get dry. The "clean" light does not stay on long enough. The handle is awful. There is nothing to hold on to to open the door and it's difficult to open.

many times have found debris left on dishes. Seems rinse cycle in Normal Cycle is inefficient.

Bought and put in man cave bar. Only used 20 times to wash glasses - died. Seriously, this machine is poorly made, didn’t work that well and always had a hard time drying and it’s a piece of junk.

This is a poor unit, it doesn't wash the dishes properly or dry them at all! it recently broke less than a year! Wish we would've spent extra $100 and upgraded. Waiting for service tech now!

Hey Gboy, I certainly apologize that your dishwasher is not performing properly. I understand that you feel that the dishwasher is not drying the dishes properly. I would recommend checking a few things before a new service provider is scheduled. Check and make sure the water coming in is at least 120 degrees, do you have heat dry cycle selected, and are you using rinse aid? I realize that as a consumer you feel that these are not reasons for your dishwasher to underperform. Over the last few years Energy Star has issued stricter standards for water and energy usage which can increases the need for Rinse Aid to dry dishes. Frigidaire

Bought this dishwasher approximately 5 weeks ago. It does a fine job washing dishes. However, it has already fallen apart. The seal between the door and the body of the dishwasher just fell off for no apparent reason. Best Buy said too bad, out of their 4 week warranty so we now have to deal with Frigidaire for help. Called them. Six button presses later, the computer said offices were closed. Will try again and let you know how service goes.

I replaced my (5) year old Maytag Dishwasher that died after the control board went. (and would have been too expensive to replace). I had a Frigidaire dishwasher at previous house which I really liked - so selected this model. So far after 1 month this dishwasher has not disappointed! It cleans great-- All the items the top and bottom racks come out sparkling. Even dirty stainless steel cookware in the bottom rack comes out clean. I like the long utensil rack along the side of the bottom rack - everything comes out clean - and I am not wrestling with getting things out of (like the Maytag Utensil - bucket style holder). Typically I let the dishes air dry when the wash is complete rather than use the dry cycle on the dishwasher. The quality of the construction of the dishwasher overall has a good solid feeling. The controls are easy to use. I use the dishwashing "packs" - not powder or gel since we have very hard water - these work very well. I wash dishes a few times a week since I am single person. In the wash cycle this dishwasher is no less noisy than the Maytag - but that doesn't matter much to me since I tend to run a load early in the am or before going to bed. It's not super noisy.. it's just not whisper quiet And finally - Delivery and installation service from Best Buy was excellent. The dishwasher arrived as scheduled, and the installation took place on date and time when promised. Very happy with that! So far nothing has disappointed me about this product.

This dishwasher works great. It has lots of different wash settings, including a sanitize option which is great with a baby. The dishes get clean and even the installation was easy. The only complaint I have is it is hard to open. There really isn't a handle to grab.

Dishwasher has all the basic settings (including some extras) and runs well. It has some noise but is mostly quiet and cleans dishes well, so it does its job. Great value for the money.

Cant beat the $300 price tag is quieter than other dish washers I've owned. The only thing about this purchase is that you need a kit with a garden hose size fitting for the water feeding line. The recommended one on the website is not the right one, the one that I bought was upc 012505453564, comes with everything, including plumbers tape.

I bought this dishwasher for my wife as a Christmas present. She was just flat out tired of doing them by hand so I took a chance made it easier for her. My purchase was an open box (it was refused on delivery because of a "scratch" on the protective film, I didn't see it after the film was gone). Before I installed it I did have water run out of the drain hose but after research I found out that Frigidaire tests every dishwasher that comes of the line. testing is not a bad thing. Bottom line, I've put some crusty dishes in this washer and Ive only had a hand full of dishes come out and need rewashing. (My wife and I are both too busy to rinse sometimes). We run the heavy setting everytime with the sanitize setting also. We have problems with "deep lobed" stuff not being dry after a cycle but you will have that IN ANY dishwasher. Overall YES. This was a great purchase.

    OK performance for the money

We budgeted only for this price range so this is the one that was chosen based on a smaller criteria. We wanted a high-heat option that sterilizes. We also wanted stainless, which takes a chunk of budget from the get-go. I would have preferred all stainless without the black accents, but this machines looks pretty good. I dislike too many buttons and complications. This has a clean design. We intially began looking for a new machine because our 15 year old dishwasher wasn't cleaning as well as it used to. After we got this new dishwasher, we were dismayed to find it wasn't cleaning well either. In researching this, however, we found that dishsoap manufacturers have removed phosphates from their products. Basically, there are NO dishwashers that clean like they once did--all because of the detergent changes. I found that the Finish Quantum brand does the best (also backed by Consumer's Reports). Ok, so now we are getting nice, clean dishes. Back to the machine: It is a noisy sucker, and its cycle lasts over 2 hours, closer to 2-1/2 hours. That's a long time with that amount of noise. Really, it's that loud! We leave the area, and if we are answering the phone or trying to have a conversation there, we open the door to stop the cycle for a bit. I did expect a louder machine given the price range, but was still a little surprised that it's as loud as it is. The interior racks are quite bare bones. It's not a plushy machine like those hundreds of dollars more. The racks are sufficient for a famiily of 4, and we can load some large pans, regular dishes, utensils, etc. The silverware trays are not lidded which doesn't bother me, but I saw some higher-end models with enclosed silverware cages. We normally only run it every 2 days and the dishes are nicely cleaned. Again, thanks to the Finish Quantum. Often, however, the dishes aren't dry completely--not just the tops of coffee mugs with the little pool of water, but the insides of glasses that should be dry. We often have to towel dry as we unload. The door closes and opens nicely. We are still adjusting the fit however. There is a gap of about 1-1/2" under the counter where you can see the metal brackets. We are getting a new floor and countertops soon and hope this will be remedied then. For the price range, it's a decent appliance. If you want something quieter, definitely do your homework and you may want to invest a little more for a quieter machine.

Easy to install except that it doesn't come with the seal kit, which would be good to put on the box or add into the specifications. Other than that, it's been working great and is very quiet. Looks nice. I'd recommend it.

This dishwasher is a decent dishwasher for the price. It cleans well and the two trays for loading are very usable. Occasionally, the detergent door doesn't open. I like the fact that the silverware basket is on the bottom and not on the door. The silverware gets clean! It is a little loud at times. But overall value is good.

I like this unit overall. It's a little noisy, but it was a great price in a package with other appliances. The preset buttons are great and you can delay the start until, which I love. I've had a few instances where the soap doesn't come out of the holder and I have to run it again. That's annoying. I switched soaps though. If you have small kids, I recommend getting a dishwasher with the buttons on top, so that the kids don't push the buttons and run the dishwasher when it's not needed.

I needed this in an emergency, my old washer having completely died. This fit the style, and budget we were hoping for. The Best Buy employee was friendly and checked on two models immediate availability before I made my decision. I got everything I needed in the store and an hour and a half later I had it installed. Runs great and quiet enough for its price range.
