Initially I was very happy with this fridge however i did notice from the beginning that the ice maker is VERY loud when running. We have had this fridge for 7 years now and about a year ago the fridge started leaking water and we have not beem able to figure out why and then 6 months ago the ice maker stopped working. Every 3 days im cleaning up a puddle of water off my floor and its beyond frustrating. Its ok for short term use but if your lookong to keep your appliances for awhile i would not recommend.

I bought my first Frigidaire Refrigerator in April of 2016 and have major problems with it the minute the 1 yr warranty expired. My Whirlpool refrigerator i had for 17 yrs with no problems and only bought the Frigidaire because it was stainless steel and went with my new remodel kitchen. The frid came to a complete halt and stop operating and i called customer service and they had no answers other than spend $200 to have someone look at it. It started making whining noises about 2 months ago and customer service had no answer. How does a new Fridg have problems so soon. I read the consumer affairs board and i was floored with all the complaints about Frigidaire from other customers. Stay away from this line of appliances.

I bought another model in 2013. After just a year when the warranty expired, it broke down. But Even before the warranty expired, it was making strange noises... like a fan was Hitting ice. I got the extended warranty and since then I've had repairmen come to check its issues about three times already in 5 years. Very disappointed with the brand. I've had cheaper brands in apartments I've rented which lasted longer and they weren't new! There was always ice issues...it wouldn't defrost properly so ice would accumulate in the walls and keep air from circulating. After writing a review, Courtney responded and asked me to call their warranty center but when I called, they were just unapologetic and unsympathetic. They even cancelled my warranty after I spoke to them Because they said there were already preexisting conditions. But the problem is that this has been happening even when it was new. Apparently they don't replace the product until after years of repeated problems and paying their warranty. It's an inferior quality to begin with

I purchased this fridge open box at Best Buy because I needed a fridge immediately for my new home. My intentions were to keep it in the basement after my kitchen renovations were done, however, I've had this fridge now for 5 months and it's still sitting in my kitchen. No complaints on food cooling. Ice/Water maker isn't connected, so I cannot comment. Upon setting up, I immediately noticed a clicking noise about every 30 mins to one hour. Annoying, but livable and for some reason it wasn't concerning. Fast forward to appx. 4 months into owning this fridge, it now wakes me up in the middle of the night with this loud buzzing noise! The best description I can give is that it sounds like my dryer buzzer when my clothes are done! I guess it wouldn't be alarming if you're doing laundry, however, this happens randomly a few times a day (that I'm aware of) and its LOUD! It wakes me up in the middle of the night! Wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing. I'll be calling Best Buy and Frigidaire to figure it out. No wonder it was returned!!!

This fridge is a awful, and Frigidaire customer service/ warranty is equally as bad. For starters, this thing is LOUD! It sounds like a loud motor running every time it kicks on. My old fridge i replaced was much, much quieter, and aside from now having an ice maker I regret getting rid of it. Which brings me to the ice maker.... Secondly, the ice maker is garbage. Had two of the collection/dispenser trays break apart already, and had to buy them myself as customer service wouldn't replace even in the first year. The ice maker also thumps loudly for about 10 minutes it tries to eject ice into the collection bin. I did get a warranty claim on the ice maker itself for this loud knocking noise it makes, and the repairman who came said its supposed to sound like that when it is trying to eject the ice from the maker. I doubt that. This stupid thing is so loud it wakes me up at least once a night due to its near proximity to my bedroom door. In summary, I have had two ice dispenser trays break apart and did not get free replacements, and the fridge is horribly loud. Worst product I have bought in long time. I hate this fridge and the monumental waste of money that it was.

nice size purchased when I brought home almost three years ago and of course the fridge part is not working and I had to throw all my food out today warranty is gone so my only options is to call someone for repair and also purchase another warranty for over 300 which wouldn’t even cover until after 30 days next time I will read reviews on products before purchasing

The Fridge is a good value for the money. I have already had to call the company and get someone to come look at it as the plastic piece the doors swivel on pops when you open it which was stated that this is a common problem however easily replaced. The ice maker works great and pumps out ice (which is good with my family).

I have had the refrigerator for 3 years now and the shelves on the door have completely broken off randomly. The fridge works fine it is just the limitation in space and the unpredictability of the shelves cracking and breaking

6 years old and it completely broke. The shelves that are attached with clips are garbage, and the shelves on the door are garbage. Cheap friegw. I guess you get what you pay for.

I'll start by saying that this is no way a complaint regarding Best Buy. It is solely a complaint against this product and the manufacturer Electrolux/Frigidaire. I purchased this refrigerator back in Nov. 2017. It worked great for 6 months, then it broke down. The refrigerator side alarmed out and shut off. We lost all of our food on that side. I called to have it serviced under the manufacturer's warranty and Electrolux/Frigidaire sent out a service tech. The problem was in the freezer where it would not properly drain after defrost mode. The drain and drain pan would freeze up into a giant block of ice. The seal on the door had a leak due to a manufacturing error that could not be fixed. Electrolux/Frigidaire assured me that they fixed the problem. One year later, the same issue occurred and we lost all of our refrigerated food again. Electrolux/Frigidaire sent our a service tech again to fix it. 3 months later, it happened again. Now, Electrolux/Frigidaire is telling me they'll replace the refrigerator but I have to pay $225 to have it delivered and installed. I explained to them that this is a problem that should have been fixed under the manufacturer's warranty so I should not have to pay a single dime to replace it, deliver it or install it since this problem was not fixed the first time around. Electrolux/Frigidaire literally told me that it wasn't their problem anymore and I could pay the delivery/install fee or they would not replace it at all. Needless to say I will never buy another Frigidaire product again. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received.

We thought we would just replace our 20 year old refrigerator and now wish we would have just kept our old one. From the start we started I could not believe the water from the door was not cold, then as it started to make ice we started to hear a noise like a mouse. While we are pretty accepting on knowing life is not perfect we hoped for the best. While cleaning I discovered the frame of one of the drawers now has a crack. I could not believe it. Now today I noticed one of the shelves on the door has developed a hairline crack. We don't even have kids, there are only 2 adults in our home. I will never buy another product from frigidaire again. It is 2 years old, I am so dissatisfied!

Why isn't my water cold from the dispenser? My only complaint otherwise it's worth the money. No weird noises unless you consider the ice maker noise "weird".

The fridge looks nice, good price too. However, it’s brand new and the touch pad doesn’t work at all - meaning no water, no ice and no light. Tried reading the manual but it offers no troubleshooting help for this. Would be interested to hear if others have had similar issues.

This refrigerator is junk. I got this less than 4 years ago and it's already dead. I've had multiple shelves break, including the metal braced ones that are in the bottom. About a month ago, the motor in the back of the refrigerator started to make a large noise like the bearing was going out and it finally failed, I think it still makes it cold but the blower no longer works. I also had my Frigidaire dishwasher that I got about the same time die, after having to be serviced twice already. I will stay away from this brand.

This is a nightmare of a fridge. The inside was damaged, top drawer is messed up and the water filtration system doesn't work. You can tell that this is basically a cheap plastic fridge with a thin steel coating. This thing ways practically nothing and you have to hold it in place in order to open one of the doors, if you don't, you're just pulling the fridge towards you. Frigidaire's customer service is one of the worst in the industry. Their answer for the busted drawer is to put Petroleum Jelly on the drawer to help it slide. As for the filtration, their answer was to change the water filter to their Ultra Version. That just caused the water and ice filtration to not work at all. Yep, it clogged the system. It takes Frigidaire so long to do everything that by the time it is finished, you're stuck with an out of warranty piece of poo. This is supposed to be a fingerprint resistant finish but the slightest touch just marks it. Also, the steel is oxidizing which means rust. We don't use any harsh cleaners or anything like that. Just warm water with some dawn and then rinse and dry thoroughly. Everything in our house is the same finish so we know how to care for it. Don't waste your money for the extra space you get with this fridge is offset with never-ending problems.

Within a year and a half the ice maker stopped dispensing ice. At least it still made ice and you could at least reach in and get ice by hand. Now a year later it stopped making ice. One day we came home to water all over the floor. Buy at you own risk. This thing is junk. I will NEVER buy another Frigidaire product again in my life and will write on every single board I can to persuade others to do the same. It's a good thing I still have my old refrigerator that I purchased over 20 years ago that works like a charm. I have a repairman coming out and expect repairs to cost more than the entire piece of junk. Just over 2 years old and already having this many problems. Just think what it will be like in 10 years. I may close the door and the entire thing may fall apart.

The water and ice dispensers are at an odd angle. You have to learn how to hold a cup at a specific angle to keep ice from bouncing everywhere. There also isn't a drip tray so, especially with kids, I had to get a mat to put in front of the fridge so there weren't dangerous falls happening in our kitchen.

Never buy this. Got it in Jan, stopped working in April and is not serviced till June and still not fixed as of June 23 2021. Never pay so much for such an useless product.
