Hello! We appreciate you stopping by to share your feedback with us and bringing your concerns to our attention. These are typical air conditioner sounds; "gurgling or hissing" noises may be heard during normal operation due to refrigerant passing through the evaporator. The fan at the front of the unit may provide the sound of rushing air. During normal operation, water droplets hitting the condenser may produce "pinging or swishing" sounds. Furthermore, high-pitched chatter may occur throughout the cooling cycle with today's high-efficiency compressors. If you should need further assistance, please contact us via Live Chat or call us at 1-800-374-4432, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.–8 p.m. EST, and we’ll be happy to assist. -Sam Frigidaire
