Purchased this unit while shopping at Best Buy. Was looking at the 5000 BTU units but decided on this one because it was a bit larger. Love the remote control with the built in room temp reader. This unit keeps my bedroom cool at nights to help me sleep because the upstairs unit gets so hot without it. Will definitely buy Fridgidaire because of its reputation for great quality.

The only problem so far is that the metal shell bulges out slightly on the sides. This means there are small gaps between the unit and the vinyl accordian segments on the sides...easily filled with some silicone gap-filler sealant. We are happy with the remote, the noise (it's in a bedroom), and the amount of cold air it pumps out.

Unit cools fast and is quite. The remote is a real plus.

This AC unit has been working great for us! We have a smaller room to cool (approx. 200 sq ft) and the AC unit makes a noticeable difference in temperature within about 5 minutes. The Eco option is great for saving money - our energy bill has barely gone up after using this almost every day for the last month (though we only turn it on when we are home).

This air conditioner is really cold and very easy to install. I really love the feature of having a temperature reading on the remote, I always know how cool my room is. The front plate that holds the filter can be a bit difficult to put back on, but that might just be me. I will now only buy Frigidaire room air conditioner units from now on.

Quiet, easy to setup, does great cooling a 120 sq ft bedroom

I have this air conditioner sitting in my living room, which bakes in the summer time. However, this air conditioner gets so cold so fast that I end up having to lay on the couch with a blanket on. I love it. It was easy to install and works like a charm.

Bought this for my bedroom. It's the quietest one in the house. Cools the bedroom very well. The temperature vie on the remote is helpful. Like the organization of the buttons on it too. The only downside is the the filter reset goes off a lot. But it's probably a good thing since the filter can't get very dirty.

We purchased two of these for a redone attic area. The windows are small so we were limited as to size. The AC units work nicely, are not too loud. We've used the eco feature when no one is there just to keep humidity down. The remotes are an added bonus. Its been a few weeks with hot and humid weather and they can do the job!

I was reluctant to replace our living room ac, after much suggestion by the wife we decided that I should buy another one .I had explained to her that I thought this particular unit would not be able to cool down the living room , much to my surprise it does and it is 10 times quieter than our old unit (5 years old) .

Efficient air conditioner for my bedroom. Cools the room down fairly quickly. Remote control comes in very handy when you don't feel like getting up.

It's small and lightweight, compared to my previous A/C of the same size. It keeps my room nice and cool, while being fairly quiet, again, compared to my previous A/C. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one, after getting one for my sons' room. I wouldn't hesitate, especially when on sale.

Bought this to replace a 10 year old unit that wasn't keeping my 900 square foot basement cool and dehumidified. This unit does a great job of keeping the whole area at 72 degrees and 40 percent humidity when the outside temp is in the upper 90s with humidity to match. It also does it with out excessive noise.

I love this AC for is ability to quickly cool my bedroom and keep it cool. It is quite enough to not disturb but gives enough ambient noise to kind of mask the city noise. I just really wish it had a dehumidifier mode with the fan only as there are times where its just humid in my room and doesn't need cooling to the extent the AC provides.
