We have been using this ac during an unusual heatwave in Monroe, NY. It is quiet and cools our 16 x 20 bedroom very well without much effort. The off and on timers make this a very efficient unit.

I was a little leery downsizing from an 8000 BTU to a 6000 to cool off my entire downstairs,but it was on sale for a significant difference,and with hazy hot and humid in the forecast,picked one up at my local Best Buy. I have had really good luck with Frigidaire AC units and had no reason to try another brand. It is smaller,I was able to put it in the window myself (I'm 62) in about 20 minutes. I did have trouble attaching the window mounting kit,but once I figured out what the trick was,they went on pretty easy. I can honestly say,it is the best of all the AC's I've had. It's quiet,so quiet that I thought it wasn't working properly. It cooled down both rooms (front to back kitchen/front to back living room) with ease,and has been running for 2 weeks straight. I turn it off and cover it with a tarp when it rains,but as soon as the weather clears,it's back on and it starts to cool the room down in the first 10 minutes. I'm very pleased with this purchase

This little unit greatly out performs its rating. I bought two for our 500sf bedroom but only installed one. Once it got it down to temperature it's been doing fine. Now, I'm sure it's more efficient to use two units, but this one is doing great. It's also nice and quiet. Definitely recommend it.

We are very happy with this unit. Fits perfectly in window and runs very quietly. We also bought the 350 square foot, 8,000 BTU unit which is much louder and a little too big for our window. I wish we had gotten two of the 250 square ft air conditioners.

Needed an air conditioner to cool off a bedroom and bought this unit based in the reviews. I have to agree that the unit is super quiet and keeps the room cool. I am so glad for this air conditioner cause now I can sleep through the night without waking up in sweat!!

This A/C is the best window unit I have ever owned, it is perfect for the bedroom. It's operation is quieter than my old units it shuts off when the desired temperature is reached, love it!

I love it. It cools my room 15-20 minutes when it's hot. There is a plus with the remote control and I don't have to crawl out of bed at night to turn it off when I am freezing. I just grab the remote to turn it off. I'm glad that I bought this one.

I bought this air conditioner for my daughter's room which is roughly 11.5' x 18' with 8-ft ceilings. This unit is relatively quiet, easy to install, and cools the room quickly. I highly recommend it if you have a room less than 250 sq ft that needs some cooling.

These units work great. I purchased 2 after purchasing one large unit that was way more install than I wanted to deal with. Having two of these in my ~1,000 sqft house has worked perfectly. They're small but powerful and pretty quiet as far as air conditioners go

We bought this for a room that was too big for its BTUs just to get us through a heatwave while our central air was on the fritz. Works really well. Very cool and fairly quiet (especially on low). Glad we chose this one. Inexpensive too

Purchased for my daughters college apartment where I pay for everything. The energy saving feature and excellent price point and brand name sold me. I would purchase this product again if I have a similar need.

I have had many window a/c's and this is the best. Quiet you do not have to turn up the sound on the TV to hear. Kept things comfortable in 95 degree humid weather. Bought as an open box and was missing 4 screws otherwise perfect.

We purchased this as a replacement for our old air conditioner. The price was good and it cools the whole room in a very short period of time. Also, much lighter than our old window unit. Easy to install.

Easy to assemble easy to put in the window We bought this to supplement our aging central air conditioner it’s fairly quiet I haven’t had it long enough to really give it five stars but so far I’m quite impressed especially with quietness.

These 2 air conditioners are perfect for my small 2 bedroom apartment. 1 in the living room window, the other in a bedroom. Quiet, these will cool down the apartment in a short time. Remotes work well.

I have this in my bedroom and is found to be quiet and efficient. I like the energy saving feature that cycles it off and on completely rather than leaving the fan running at all times with the compressor cycling on/off.

Easy to use remote, cools just the way I need and want it too. It works perfectly for my needs. I love the sleep mode where I can tell it to shut off after a specific number of hours. I'd buy it again.

This was the best decision I have made all year I mean this is the best air-conditioner it is so quiet and I think I’ve already saved $40 this month using it fantastic I wish I bought more while they were on sale
