So glad I purchased the Frigidaire 8000BTU A/C the end of June 2018. It has been a very humid summer and the nights have been unbearable. Especially if you have COPD, which I have. This A/C has been so helpful for me. I am confident it will last me for several years to come. Bes Buy's prices were the best around and I really checked prices for all the major stores and smaller ones too. Best Buy was the best, no pun intended, lol. Just stating facts...

This air conditioner is the perfect size for my bedroom. It comes with a remote so if it gets too cold in the room I don’t have to getup to adjust the temperature.

I bought this as a replacement for a generic window unit in my travel trailer and it actually fits and cools better than the original.

It functions. It usually but not always defaults to eco-mode which doesn’t really cool and constantly goes on and off, waking you up at night. Both the panel and the remote require you to stand over them and turn the lights on so you can control it, but you have to wake up and sometimes even get up, to do so. On regular cool it does cool my bedroom over time and it is quieter than most other air-conditioners I’ve had. So it’s OK though I thought it was a little on the expensive side, but I needed one after the summer began. It is much lighter weight than my older air-conditioners.

It is a very simple and easy air conditioner to operates. I like the fact that it comes with a remote control!! I am very happy with my purchase!!

This is the perfect AC unit to cool down the space intended. The install was relatively easy (was a two person job) and so far no complaints.

Quieter and more energy efficient than what I had before. The compressor coming on is slightly louder than I would like, but it's not intolerable.
