However I do notice that when the compressor turns on it is quite loud and noticeable, although it is not outrageous.

I have to be one of many who ignored reviews about the dents and damaged door hoping that may be a fluke. It’s unclear whether this could be from poor manufacture packaging, warehouse storage, or careless delivery. Just beware and inspect before the short return window closes, if you choose to purchase anyway.

I’ve read all the reviews prior to buying this stating problems with drinks being cold, or having icing issues. I thought I would be different, but I’m not. Although the door is reversible, when you reverse the opening side, the logo is upside down and looks super tacky. Also, it is not doing well. Keeping my drinks cold. I have it max at seven so icing is an issue but drinks do not get very cold. Will probably go with a different model. I have had new air in the past and no problems but with more pricey ones. Do yourself a favor and fork over the money for the expensive anywhere double door fridge instead of the single crappy one.

Don’t know whether it is normal sound or mine k e is abnormal. My main side by side door LG fridge is absolutely silent. Ofcourse I cannot compare a $200 with a $1200 refrigerator.
