I got this for a 300 Square foot room over the garage. We have 3 vents in that room but it still gets up to 80 degrees up there. It was easy to set up and the window kit worked great. I did buy 2 adjustable rods to help keep the window tightened down on the window kit which helps keep air from leaking around the kit. I keep it set at 72% and it's been a game changer. I've had it for about a month and so far so good we're very happy.

I waited until now to write this review because I wanted to use the unit for a season before giving it any rating. The result was very good. The unit was function well and did what it supposed to do. The noise was low the power was high. At times I was freezing and had to turn it down a little. I will have to try the heater this winter to see how well it does. Stay tune!

Got this to get through the summer after my main unit died. It's works great! It has a lot of setting so you can find your perfect temperature. It also has auto, cool and a sleep mode. It was easy to install, and it's easy to use. It's keeping my living room and kitchen cool. Overall, I love it!

Great for small rooms in addition to central air. Give that extra cool in the Texas heat. Keeps my room cold. Great value.

It has so many features, and it easily cools the upstairs of my bungalow. It is relatively quiet when cooling. I am very pleased!

This unit saved our summer. I love how cool it keeps our bedroom. Although I will say I thought it would be able to cool more square footage of my apartment.

Keeps even our largest room nice and cool, on some of the hottest days. Was quite happy with the decibel level too, it's not totally silent, but it's no louder than any of our box fans. A bit of a wait on the delivery, but one day didn't make too much difference, especially when you factor in that it was an open box/return from someone else. Still need to figure out how to get the remote to work but so far we can work all the controls/timers from the main panel.

After doing a thorough comparative search, the reviews kept bringing me back to this unit. It arrived quickly, sets ups quickly (even in larger than normal window) and cooled my master bedroom and bathroom within minutes. This by far has been the best portable AC I've ever purchased. Youre not going to find anything that compares to this unit and its price! Even not on sale!

Pros: cools our bedroom effectively and quickly. Easy to set up. Cons: noisy but doesn’t prevent us from sleeping. I would judge it noisier than a window unit. Big and takes up floor space. But of course we expected that. Overall satisfied.

This is a very convenient and easy to use portable air conditioner. It cools a room down super quickly. It comes with a remote that we don’t use often, but the settings and everything else are super easy to use.

Does a great job of cooling off my living room. The only reason that I'm not giving it a 5 is because it is a little louder than I would like. I realize it can't be completely silent, but besides the jet engine blowing noise (I could live with that), it makes a mechanical ringing noise. That's the irritating part. But it does a great job of cooling me off, and that's the important part. It's a good value for the price.

Nice AC perfect size. Not too loud keeps room cool

Due to our townhome guidelines, we can't have window ACs so we decided to try this unit. This cools the room pretty well. The remote doesn't always work despite it being new. Sometimes after 10 minutes, it will shut off/slow down and then take a minute to restart. It's been less than a month so we haven't seen how much it will impact our electric bill. Overall, it has helped us with our hot days. The directions aren't the easiest to follow but watching a youtube video made the unit easy to assemble.

Fairly quiet, which is good because I'm a light sleeper. Cools very efficiently.

Straightforward setup, cools down the whole room quickly for its size. My only complaint is that I don't know how to get it to be on constantly. Even when I set the fan speed to "high" it acts like it is on auto.

Directions don’t mention that you’ll need a utility knife/box cutter to cut down the window adjustment slide thing. Thank goodness I had one, took me almost an 30 mins of scoring/slicing through the rough plastic get it cut down. You might also want to have some foil HVAC tape & extra foam on hand in case your window needs additional sealing to keep hot air out & cold air in. Getting the exhaust hose to connect properly to the AC itself & the window plate was too much trouble (be sure you look at the hose where it connects to the plate to ensure that there are no openings. The directions were lacking overall & I had better installation help on YouTube. Finally, it was time to turn it on — the remote is out of sync with the unit, had to do settings manually. Now that it’s been running for an hour the room feels… ok. If you’re expecting the same kind of output that you get with a window unit you should lower your expectations, but this unit does make a smaller room more comfortable.
