It definitely cools down your room, now I dont think it can cool up to 450 SQ feet like it says. But it will definitely keep yoh cool. Just wish the hose was not so flimsy. Had to duct tape it to keep it steady, only downside. But not having to drain it, makes up for the hose

Quite and yet powerful cooling machine. Definately recommend to everybody who is looking for quite powerful and budget portable A/C.

Works pretty good. Has helped provide additional cooling in one room that the main unit has trouble reaching. It's easy to install

It really blast the cold air and was way set up. I hope that this portable will last a few years. Other make window units, go bad after 2 years.

Works great at cooking a smaller room but stuggles with a larger area. I moved from the ;living room to my sons bedroom and it works much better.

Unit is pretty loud despite being advertised as otherwise. Sounds like an obnoxious old fridge or ice box. Additionaly, the window kit peices are rather large for the average window so I had to manually cut them- would not be easy to do by the average person. Also if you have a larger window sill the connector tube piece will need to be flipped upside down and tabs broken off to make it work. Cools nicely and seems like it was well made

Its almost been a year. I am using it again this summer to keep my computer room cool. Definately worth it. Easy to operate.

I bought two portable air conditioners, this one is the best. It cools, and is much quieter than the other one. I really like it.

This is perfect for us. Love the timer feature and sleep mode. Cools great and doesn’t run up the electric bill like some units. I would recommend to anyone.Found some a little cheaper but the every efficient rating was better on this so I paid a little more but feel like Obama saving per month over the expense.

Works well, good for a bedroom or small space under 500 sft. Put in a window with a screen, and dont need to worry about bugs.

Easy to use. Setup was a breeze. Kept me and my family comfortable when our ac went out over a holiday weekend. Would by again.

This a/c cools like the dickens! Its easy to set up. The timer setting is good for when you dont want it running all night.

Truly wonderful I have a 400 sq. ft. Studio apartment, and it keeps this apartment very cool here. And extremely happy with this portable AC. I will definitely recommend it to everyone. It is not too noisy, easy to operate, easy to clean the two filters just with a little bit of sudsy water.

Not the best I have owned, but seems to work for my purposes. I work out of a home office and we have central air and I use this when the office get's overheated to take the edge off. I purchased this because it has an ionizer, but I am not convinced that it even works. I used to have a Sharp portable AC with an ionizer and had to leave the office when it was on because of the distinct smell. This literally has zero indication that the Ionizer is working, I see no difference with it on or off. The "auto" function does not work very well, but if I crank the temperature down and use the "cooling" option it seems to work fine. My home office is around 150 square feet and I have direct sunlight in the mornings coupled with my iMac, Monitor, work PC, etc. I wouldn't think this would be ideal for a much larger room. On the plus side, I do like the optional filter that works with the units standard filter (sold on their website or via Amazon). It has a small footprint and looks very nice and it is a name brand. I did a ton of research and as mentioned, the Ionizer functionality was my tipping point (purchased without any reviews). I am not sure if I would recommend only because of the mentioned comments, unless the price point was low. It's not bad per se, but there are a lot of options in the market.

The product is quiet and installation is very easy! Love it.

Works for a small room. Preferably one with a door or way to close off the room and keep the air. Wide open spaces may not benefit.
