Needs to be near a window to work well.

It worked well enough for the month I had it.

Note that this portable AC is only meant to be used in a large bedroom that is 350 to 450 sq. ft., rather than cooling multiple rooms at once. Additionally, according to the Use and Care Guide, when this unit is in the Cool Mode the appliance must be placed close to a window or opening so that the warm exhaust air can be ducted outside. This does mean the unit needs to be near a window when cooling, but only in that mode. Nonetheless, we are sad to learn that you've chosen to move on. We hope that one day we have an opportunity to restore your faith in our products. ~Keyanna
