    Just 2 Months Very Disappointed

    I am beyond disappointed this Frigidaire Cooktop has a scratch that appears to be a crack. I have had a Frigidaire and after 5 years it cracked and appears to look the same way, although I just bought this one and have hardly used it. I use my double air fryer & oven more then my stove. I can't hold back my tears right now, knowing that I am going to pay on an item for another 10 months and will not be able to use it have been denied assistance or resolution from both Frigidaire and Best Buy Protection. I have been a Total Protection Member for several years and it's useless to me, which I a pay a few hundred dollars for every year and decide to use it and denied resolution. The way I feel at the moment is beyond words, so sick to my stomach, I am afraid to cook on this stove and if what I am seeing is a crack and not a scratch.

    this is a great cooktop, its really a nice combination of 2 small and 2 big heat with one as fast cook. I am glad i got this even though the installation took over 2/3 months.

    No Temperature Control

    We wanted a flat surface, black, ceramic top range and this one fit the bill. However, after a year of using it, we like it less and less each day. 1. It's hard to clean, even with the proper cleansing product. You have to scrub, which we fear will eventually remove the surface, even though we are paying for the exact recommended cleaning product, which isn't cheap. 2. What is MOST annoying is the serious lack of regulation of the temperature ranges. Despite having options from 1-6 (dual top) and 1-8 on the others, there is no difference. It's either Medium or high, there is no "low"! And high is ridiculously HOT! It burns everything. Additionally, the top stays hot for nearly an hour after you turn it off! So we can't leave any thing on the burner even though the power is turned off. We've ruined a pan because of this. We've learned to use even heavier bottom pots and cook everything on medium or use the smaller ranges. We only use the "instant boil" range for just that - boiling water. This is does fabulously! However, we can't cook anything else on it, or else it burns. We are experienced cooks and use proper high quality pots and pans. We will be replacing this when we redo our kitchen next year and return to our previous brand. Very disappointing purchase.

    Do not do business with Best Buy. They will not honor their return policy. They sold me a broken cooktop. I called to request a replacement. They stalled until the 30 day return period expired and then told me it wasn’t eligible.

    Bad Frigidaire experience at their first product

    I just hooked up this brand-new Frigidaire cooktop and all burners are turned themselves totally off after 3-4 seconds (no heat at all - I can touch the burner without burning) when we turn them on (either one by one is on or all of them) from low level to level 8 then they turn them back on after a minute then turn off again after 2-3 seconds again. To keep them on, we must set them on "High". Frigidaire sent a technician (Frigidaire/Electrolux) to our home to check the issue today and he said the cooktop was designed to turn themselves off like that... :( What is the BAD DESIGN like this... how do cook some food which cannot be on high heat?

    I want my old cooktop back

    It has a really bad smell coming from it. Pot was literally floating off the heat surface, way too slick. Not sure if the return process will be accommodating to getting a regular coil cooktop ASAP. I had the delivery / installation guys haul away my old one and I regret that so much right about now. I need it back!!!
