When I opened box I was surprised that it looked sturdy and had a color very similar to my microwave!

Unlike the trim kit for the previous model of the corresponding microwave, this one lets you slide the microwave into the trim kit base. This makes the installation easier compared to that of the previous model.

Another note is mounting holes go in at an angle so you possibly damage cabinet as I did. The positive its plastic so I was able to change mounting by drilling small holes to go in straight into my cabinet trim. When done mounting it will set up to be an inch and half out from cabinet.

Very Easy to install - just make sure you measure correctly the space it needs to go into before purchasing. Even if you have a problem Best Buy has a customer-friendly return policy!

What a total waste of money. Did I mention it is plastic all around the frame? Or that the sides that sides are so notched out that you can’t even get a built in look??? Wondering if I can return it so I can just buy wood trim that would cover all sides.
