It does blow out cold air, but it didn't lower the room temperature by several degrees like the reviews stated. It did keep the room at the same temperature instead of getting warmer like in the past. We used it in a room upstairs, that would normally get warmer when you closed the door, but it did help maintain the temperature.

It heats very good. I like how it is portable. My granddaughter come to stay some time s with us. So it works out very nicely we may buy another one as time progresses

The heat setting is very nice in the winter. The cooling is what I expected. It is not a AC it simply uses cool water to put out cool air.

It does not keep our room cold at all, it’s just an overpriced fan. We have even put ice in the water with the ice packs included into the canister and it still doesn’t keep our space even cool. You only feel cool air if you stand directly in front of the fan, almost touching it. We haven’t used the heating feature, but so far we are disappointed.
