Very good, inexpensive wine cooler
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced a pair of expensive wine fridges with two of these. They are a bit smaller than the 52 bottle coolers I replaced, but adequate for what I need currently. Be aware that there are two zones, one each for red and white. The red zone only chills to a certain temp and will not be cold enough for whites. The white zone is colder and may not be to your liking for reds. Also, the trays do not slide out and are fairly close together, so it's not easy to place or remove wines, and very difficult to see what you have on each shelf. That being said there are a number of positives: inexpensive but look more than they cost, quiet, cool appropriately, easy to move around. Overall a good purchase for me, but be aware of what you're getting.

Posted .Hey TxG8r! I am delighted to hear about your recent purchase. This wine cooler was designed to help store red, white, and sparkling wines separately to ensure each is kept at the appropriate temperature for maximum taste. Store sparkling and whites at 41-54°F and store reds at 55-64°F. With that being said, your feedback is certainly appreciated and viewed by our product specialists, who I'm sure will find value in your thoughts. Have a great day! -Courtney

Excellent product for my space and location!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product has excellent temperature control for each of its 2 zones. Like any compressor refrigeration unit it makes a humming sound when running, but it is not as loud as the old dorm refrigerator that I was using. The maximum capacity is 38 bottles, but if If you have bottles that are larger than a standard Bordeaux bottle you will need to remove one of the shelves to get them to fit like I did. Still, it fits my needs perfectly.

Great for the Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The wine fridge is good and bad. It is a great design, easy to set up, and does its job very well. The one downside is the shelf size. If you have a Pinot or Chardonnay shaped bottle you will have to squeeze it in or put it on a one of a few shelves. You might also have to remove one shelf or the bottom shelf to fit champagne in the bottom. Other than that it is a great fridge. If you want one that is better engineered then you are going to probably pay double.

OK for the investment.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is OK for the investment. The lower tray easily falls out of the area where is supposed to be, and then the door won't close. Only standard bottles fit well, if they are a little oversized then they become hard to fit. Not well thought out, a good percentage of wines don't come in standard size bottle even if they are 750ml. Something I really didn't like is that the cooler area is not separated from the rest. There is a big gap between the controls and the glass. I wonder what they did it this way. Whoever designed it was not too bright. I brought a couple of thermometers to gauge the temp inside and, of course, cooler air tends to go to the bottom. There was no difference among them. The two different temps became one. So the cooler area becomes irrelevant. On the good side, it is silent.

Works as expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've only had it a couple of months. Looks nice. Easy set up. Dual temp is working nicely. Very quiet. Only drawback is it does not hold 38 bottles.

This was my plan ... it worked great.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read a huge number of reviews from buyers of wine coolers before making this purchase. My goals were as follows: 1. Two-zone cooler; 2. Low 40-degree to mid 50-degree temperature zone variation; 3. Reasonable price - hopefully under $500, all in; 4. Nothing reported as being chronically wrong with the wine cooler in the buyer's reviews; I bought the Frigidaire wine cooler from Best Buy specifically because the price was good and the Frigidaire brand has a good reputation, this cooler houses 38 bottles, it met all my requirements BUT most especially, I could buy 5 years of Geek coverage for a reasonable price that would "repair or replace" the unit if some of those things mentioned in the reviews actually happened to my unit. Best Buy is the only retailer who offers this totally dependable aspect of service reliability. Nothing lasts forever so best to be prepared for failure. I'm happy that I found the best of all worlds.

Nice fridge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price it's a very good wine cooler. Some of the bottles are a little tight fit however it's very functional. My only complaint is a small ding in the back of the fridge. There was no damage to the shipping box I can only assume it was shipped from the factory with damage.

Frigidaire Wine cooler has excellent features.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I trust Frigidaire and This wine cooler is stylish, has 2 zones, good controls and wooden shelves which I prefer. With more than enough room for both my reds and whites. My only small complaint is that the shelves don’t slide that well and are too close together to house bottles of sparkling.

Very sleek looking wine cooler, well built
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my husband for Christmas and surprised him with it. First I would like to say, Best Buy workers SHOULD NOT shove products into a car that doesn't fit. I offered to go home and get a bigger car and he insisted on shoving it through my back seat door which was a nightmare and didn't fit in or out of my doors. With that, the staples on the box scraped off paint on the inside of my door and broke the seal around the bottom of the door. HIGHLY disappointed and didn't even notice until I got home. PLEASE listen to your customers, it shouldn't matter "how busy ya'll were" for the holidays, I should've been allowed to get a bigger car instead of the employee ruining my paint and seal on my door. Besides that, the product itself. It looks great, it ended up fitting perfect in a corner of our office and my husband loves the look of it. His only complaints are that it gets colder in both sections than what we set the temperature at. Which we hoped to store beer brewing kegs in the bottom portion to keep them cool enough, so it makes it difficult since we need it at a direct certain temperature that we set and it always ends up being too cold. The next complaint is that the shelves are built only to fit the size of a standard skinny wine bottle. We have several big bottomed wine bottles that only fit on the third shelf down and still it protrudes the shelf above it since the space isn't wide enough. You can only put the wider bottles in certain spots usually on the outer edges, definitely not on the top shelf at all. Just makes it a little inconvenient since we keep having to reorganize.

Nice wine fridge - low noise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an extremely nice looking unit and seems well made. We purchased one in store since some said deliveries were dented. The shelving is higher quality than our last one and the lighting inside looks wonderful for parties. It served our needs well. While it doesn’t hold regular wine bottles, much less champagne, without removing a shelf or two, that worked fine. We also keep soda, beer and bottled water in the lower section. I don’t think any of these units are perfect but for the low noise, sleek (high-quality) look and the consistency of the cooling and maintaining of temperature - this one gets my vote. We’re very happy with it.

Very pleased with this wine fridge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had to replace a much more expensive unit because it had failed. Found this one at BestBuy for less than half the price and so far the unit has performed flawlessly. Each compartment maintains its temperature within +/- 1 degree (measured with a digitial thermometer placed inside the fridge). It is extremely quiet as well. The wooden shelves allow the bottles to slide very easily.

Decent wine refrigerator - quiet operation.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had read many reviews of this wine refrigerator prior to purchase, yes the shelves are a little tight with Burgundy style bottles or Champagne, so you won't get 38 usage if you have those wines. Dual temp zone works well to keep white and bubbly cold for use and second zone for keeping expensive reds at a constant temperature. I have this in my kitchen and only sound is a slight gurgling of the refrigerant when cycling. Works for me!!

Overall Satisfied
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great wine fridge so far. Upgraded from a smaller 18 capacity unit of a different brand. I enjoy the dual zones as I like my whites colder than my reds. As others have commented it does seem strange to have the colder zone up top and the warmer below, nevertheless seems to get the job done. I have not tested the temp in either zone but whites are colder. Primarily I care that my wines do not spoil and my whites are cold enough to enjoy, which this seems to accomplish. You would definitely have to alternate the facing of the bottles and get a little creative to get the 38 bottles capacity that it claims, but I have 28 bottles in now without much issue/crowding. It definitely makes some noise, my last of a different brand was much quieter/virtually silent, but the noise this fridge makes isn’t offensive, it reminds me of an ultrasound of the womb. We hear while nearby but not losing any sleep from it. I’m overall pleased, I like the lock feature as well if I decide to utilize if my toddler decides to get into it at some point. I bought on sale so feel like I got a good value for the price. Also due to the restrictions in CA didn’t have many other options to choose from in this size and price point.

Perfect size for casual wine collectors/consumers.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This wine cooler is very quiet was easy to load. I like the dual zone as I do like my wines at different temperatures and this way I don't have to wait for the reds to warm a bit or chill the whites a bit more. I also appreciated the ability to change the door to open the way that best fit our location. And it was easy to do.

Nice 2 zone wine frig with compressor
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The frig keeps the wine cool as advertised. I have the top zone set for whites and the bottom zone for reds seems to stay a little cooler than set; however not too cool. It's great for those of us who keep out home thermostats a little higher(thermoelectric won't work) and don't wish to spend too much on a 2 zone frig. It holds the number of bottles as advertised, but the shelves are a little hard to slide in and out. Overall a reasonable frig for the price.

Best one so far!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had several wine coolers, but this one is the best so far. It looks good, runs quietly, keeps accurate temps, and holds a range of sizes of bottles. For bigger bottles you can store them on the bottom level or simply remove a rack to make the storage of the rack below it deeper.

Wine Cooler for all Wine Enthusiasts
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has been almost one year since I purchased this wine cooler and I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. The modern design of this cooler adds a touch of sophistication to any space. One of the standout features of this cooler is its two precise temperature controls, the digital thermostat allows me to easily adjust the temperature to suit the specific needs of red and white wines. Overall, I recommend it to everyone in the market for a reliable wire storage solution. Cheers!

Excellent Wine Cooler
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit replaces a Vassani unit that failed after two years of operation. FYI, a 5 year parts only warranty does you no good if the labor costs nearly equal the cost of a new unit. The Frigidaire unit has two sections with independent temperature controls. The default temps of 59 and 46 were within 2 degrees as measured with a probe. If all your wine is in standard bottles, there will be no problem with fitting them in. If you have larger bottles, you will have to adjust the shelving or remove one accordingly. As for the bottle height complaint, that only applies to the bottom two shelves which have the cooling unit in the rear restricting height. All the other shelves allow bottles about 4-5 inches taller. Two other nice features are a simple hex lock at the bottom to prevent unauthorized access, and an alarm that sound after 5 minutes if the door is left open.

Cool, quiet, attractivec
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have enjoyed this cooler for just shy of a year. This cooler has 2 chilling zones for my whites and reds. It's amazingly quiet. I need absolute silence to hear it's running. The quiet comes with a trade off. This type of chilling element takes longer to regulate interior temperature after the door has been opened than a standard compressor which is a bit noisier. This is not a concern for me. Unlike my food fridge, I'm not opening this cooler as often or for as long. Do your homework to decide which type of cooling mechanism suits your needs. The cabinet is attractive. When entertaining, I can turn on the interior lights to assist with wine selection or just the ambience. Larger bottles do not fit in the included wood trays but the trays can be easily removed to make space. Sometimes the back of a the tray get hung up in the back. Simply lifting the front of the tray allows it and the bottles to slide out easily. Bottom line, it's does it's job well and is attractive in my home entertainment area. I think this wine cooler is a good value for the price.
