I had to buy this refrigerator because I have teenagers that can demolish a 24 pack of soda in one day and I'll be left with nothing. Works great, layout is nice, wasn't too hard to change the way the door opens, but the lock needs much improvement. It will keep the basic thieves out, but all you really need to unlock it is the right size Allen wrench. You could probably bend the lock plate down far enough to open the door as well. I would gladly pay a little more to have a real enclosed keyed lock.

I purchased this unit based on great reviews, especially concerning low noise because the unit is in a guest room where people sleep. Every now and again, a rather loud vibration occurs that is disturbing, but when the unit is moved slightly, the vibration stops. It seems that the noise comes from the shelving, but I have not yet been able to solve the problem. From a functional standpoint, this unit is tops.

I used this as a medicine refrigerator as I needed a minimum temperature to keep it at. It has worked exceptionally well, the added lock feature on the refrigerator kept me from having to find an outside way that was not cosmetically pleasing to get the medicine secure.

The bigger 4.5 cu ft is perfect for my daughters room at college. She loves that it has a seperate freezer door inside. There is plenty of shelf and door space.

I find this company to be a little misleading. I cannot get this small fridge to get cool enough to keep everything the right temp. I use this in a bedroom that I'm renting, so I can store personal food items, alcoholic bevs, and medications that are temp sensitive. I do have to agree that the fridge all around had a great price, weight, and size...but the temp control is misleading even with an almost empty appliance.

Put this in my garage and works perfectly. Beer is ice cold and is quiet. Would purchase again.

The size of the refrigerator is perfect for my office, and work quiet and well. Top!!

I love this fridge, lots of storage and my printer fits on top. The locking feature is great when you first move into dorms. Nice sturdy design with magnetic door face, easily holds whiteboard for planning. Have had it for two years and never had a problem other than I need help whenever moving it around.

Great for drinks! It holds all kinds of drinks and serves well as an office fridge.

I had this for exactly 2 years and 2 months. The compressor went bad exactly 2 months after the extended warranty expired. It worked nicely until it stopped working suddenly. I looked for resetting information which online mentioned that most of these have but Fridgidaire does not include this information on their manuals or website. I am bummed because there's no kitchen where I work.

It has been 24 days since product was bought. Called store for problem with food toward back of fridge being frozen no matter the setting. Unless you are willing to shell out 35 dollars at beginning of purchase, you will get no help from Best Buy. Will try to get satisfaction from manufacturer. Also be aware of what third party delivery is when you order on-line, you don't get same basic services like unpacking item and adjusting fridge for stability. Customer service rep couldn't have cared less about my problem, just whether I had spent more money on protection plan. Are you selling poor quality products to get that extra 35-100 dollars? If you can't give good basic service why should I spend more money with you? You have just lost another customer, Best Buy.

The Frigidaire - 4.5 Cu. Ft. Compact Refrigerator is the perfect size for our intended purpose. It has a lock on it which was a selling point for us.

Great capacity-love the lock feature! Spacious for the small size and perfect for a garage, basement, or office.

We're generally OK with this unit. It cools unevenly leaving items in the back frozen and things in the front not quite cold enough. We don't need so much room for aluminum cans so that rack is wasted space.

So glad we bought this refrigerator, this is a nice little refrigerator. Our refrigerator went out & this is to get us buy until we get our new refrigerator. Waiting to be able to put on our Best Buy Card.

Had a similar Frigidaire model that lasted about 7 years that I replaced with this one. Plugged it in at my office on Saturday and it was fine - got down to 35 degrees. Came back Monday and it was at room temperature. What a hassle to haul it, unpack it and then haul it back to Best Buy within a week.

This Frigidaire was just the right size for my granddaughter's dorm room at The University of Florida. It fits perfectly in the room and can be used by her roommates.

The product purchased at the store in Lincoln, Nebraska worked well for 20 days. It suddenly stopped cooling at that time and though all the lights work, there is no air. Best buy assured me to the best of their ability that it was no longer their problem after 15 days. My husband and I travel in a tractor trailer hauling freight across the country and it is hard to stop to purchase an item; let alone find a place on our route to have this item repaired.
