That doesn’t seem right, but Best Buy’s replies was that it happens in her refrigerator, too. Still don’t know if that’s supposed to happen, so I would check to see if that is supposed to happen before you buy it.

If the doors of the refrigerator are opened frequently or if they are not sealed properly, the warm air outside will get into the appliance.
