    Extremely quiet and effective. Installation could be done by one person, but a second helping hand would make it easier. Frigidaire is the only manufacturer that makes an air conditioner for slider windows.

    Listed as being 14.2" wide when in fact it is 14.5" ...that really sucks when your window is only 14.25" but I made it work with some cutting. Other than that works great, have yet to test it on a really hot day

    I purchased a damaged and defective unit. Right off the box, the box had a major cut on its lower left side. The unit itself was damaged from the lower right side with a visible dent. I couldn't get a replacement because Best Buy was out of stock. I called Fridgadare corporational offices and they were willing to give me a replacement provided that I cut the cord from the current damaged unit. Seriously? Cut the cord? I wasn't even given an assurance as to a replacement until further review. Now, I'm stuck with a damaged unit.....the one thing Best Buy was able to do for me was a 10% discount.

      Hi Juice27. If you received a letter asking for the cut cord then a replacement was warranted. The cord is requested so that the appliance is not resold or used as there would be no remaining warranty on the product.     Had first one delivered and arrived damaged and then went to pick up second one and it’s making a loud clunking noise and will also be returned. Very frustrating when these are so expensive!!

    Came banged up. Will cool one room but that’s it we got a couple and I highly recommend finding a house with AC as this sucks. U would need one for every single room
