The price was a bit lower than the previous one, so a good value. The oven temperature doesn't show the temperature counter as it is reaching the desired temp. Just beeps when it reaches the desired temperature. The previous one, you would set it to 450degrees, and it would start on 100degrees and you could see it moving up until 450degrees was desired. This one lacks that option, but still a good range / stove.

Good basic stove

The burners control well for an electric stove. I am not satisfied with the baking, for example, when baking biscuits, which I've probably done several hundred times in my 77 years, the tops do not brown easily but the bottoms brown do much they almost burn.

A dark metal pan absorbs and distributes heat more quickly and thoroughly than lighter-colored pans. So not only will your biscuits bake more quickly in a dark pan, its bottom can potentially burn (or at least brown unpleasantly) due to over-exposure to oven heat. We hope this helps.
