But I've had 2 previous units which after about a year have given me an error message and shut down. after unplugging and a reset, It resumes but stops again after a while. This new unit has a better access to the hose attachment and much easier to access the filter for cleaning. I like this dehumidifier and hope Frigidaire got this one right.

I love the self draining option. Turn it on and forget about it. The only thing that you will be thinking about is how great it is to no longer have a basement with that damp stanky smell you grew too accustomed to.

Also when emptying you have to hold it a certain way or water comes out in more than 1 place. Otherwise it is fine.
